I just got the finished photos of my size 58 glossy carbon frame. I’ve ordered my frame beginning of January, and although I was braced for a long delay—Chloe had previously pushed the estimate to late March due to CNY and bulk order backlogs—the frame is actually finished today!

Shipping to Austria is next; hoping it arrives safely in the next 2 weeks.

I'm really happy with the turnaround time!

I'm planning to order a frame and I'm unsure about the internal storage. I have seen in previous posts that the frame is obviously less stiff, but... Do you appreciate something when riding the bike? I will use the bike to race in some triathlons (short distance) so I'm in doubt about purchasing the frame with or without internal storage. Any recommendations?

Hello guys, I finally rode my bike today and I’m very impressed with its stiffness. It wasn’t my first build, but it was definitely the easiest one. Everything fit exactly as it should, without any issues (let’s ignore the integrated cables ).

After previous experience with AXS, I chose a mechanical 2x12 105 groupset with an Ultegra crankset and VXM 160mm brake rotors [great brake power], Novatec R4 wheelset. Di2 battery and cables are not my cup of coffee.

A few insights:
I’m 193 cm tall, 93 cm inseam, 110 kg.

The frame is pretty stiff during sprints, but the seatpost is creaking (or maybe the saddle? Not sure yet). The seatpost is installed with carbon paste and tightened to 9 Nm.

In the photo I’m running 40 mm tires on 23 mm internal rim width. My road tires are 32 mm.

First Impressions – LCR018

Just like another rider who owns the same frame, I’ll use the exact same word to describe it:

“SMOOTH”

Today I did 100 km (around 1000 m of elevation gain) and the overall feeling was simply amazing.

What a geometry.
I felt super comfortable, always in control and with total confidence on the bike.

In my opinion, it’s clearly some kind of all-rounder with an endurance DNA:

Climbs well

Responds well enough in sprints

Has good aerodynamics

Rolls fast on the flats

But its strongest point… is comfort

Properly equipped, it’s more than capable of racing Fondos and long-distance events.
It’s not a pure crit race machine — it doesn’t have that ultra-aggressive, razor-sharp nervous feel — but that’s not what it’s built for.

It’s a bike for riders who want performance with control and real long-ride comfort.

And in that role… it absolutely delivers.

I was told 120 kg when i asked Hedy at Lightcarbon.

I am storing tubes, tire levers and a multitool in the storage bag. Having this i don't need the saddle bag anymore.
IMO it looks better and cleaner - i would always opt for it.
Triathlon will have no Sprint in the Bike - the less stiffness should affect less than in crits.
Beside this: Most of the km will be Training and not in a competition.

They sent this to me in the UK in a way that did not involve any extra tax. I am not sure if they can guaranty 100% that it will be free of tax.
