It took quite a few emails back and forth with different changes. I worked with Wendy and she was very good about sending a new rendering with the changes

I bit the bullet and confirmed my order this morning.  I was told it should be 2-4 weeks.  Now I sit *patiently* and wait for them to send me pictures of the painted frame.  Nervous but excited at the same time.

I placed my order in mid-January. They said it would be shipped before Chinese New Year or in early March. This week, I asked for an update on the shipping date and they replied that the frame would be ready at the end of April... so I find it hard to believe your 2-4 weeks.

Fair points.  I usually try to assume that when coming from that far away that the delivery dates are about half of what I should expect.  What I’m hoping for is- possibly foolishly - is somewhere in the middle of, so maybe 5-6 weeks(?)

Which frame size?

I was leaning towards the 56 based on their sizing chart recommendation. I used bikeinsights to compare the frame with some of my previous bikes and found that the 58 should be good. It was very similar to my old Fuji gran Fondo Classico and I found that bike to be very comfortable.

Has anyone tried using an alternative UDH with this frame? I'm sure I saw a Framesandgear one being used by someone amongst the last 117 pages. I am looking for a little more clearance for a larger cassette.

I just remembered that yours is the frame with the painted seatpost. How has that been working out? Do you feel like the paint has been a factor in fitment? Is the interface with carbon paste and the painted seatpost fine?

 magene p515 with Stone Chainrings in front, ztto cassette
Tagoola wheels

Build was smooth, made already a few km on the roll with it and now the First rides outside.
No issues with the seatclamp (with 8Nm)

Only issue with the Back wheel is that the sound of the freehub isn't steady.
Will wait a few km If the grease will so its Job. Otherwise i will grease it again.

Feels fast and comfortable to me👍

I replaced mine for titanium bolts - not to save 2g (although that's nice!), but because I think titanium is less likely to round off. I got them from AliExpress. I went for hex key heads so I can use the 'ball' end of the allen key to tighten up 95% of the way and then fully torque with the proper end. Not using a torque wrench here to avoid damage to the seatpost.

What is the size of the bolt for replacement? I think i need to order

750ml,
Getting the rear bottle back into the cage is a bit complicated while driving, as the cages are relatively tight.
A smaller bottle would be easier, i guess.

I’d also be curious to hear how people are getting a torque wrench in there. I haven’t been able to find an adapter that works with mine, so I ended up doing it by hand. Thankfully I haven’t had any slippage so far, but I only have one ride on it at this point.

Also, here are a few pictures of my build. I finally got it put together. Components are a mix of a little bit of everything lol. It still needs tape obviously, and I still haven’t decided if I’m going to run it 1x or 2x.

Pretty happy with the weight too, 7.1 kg as pictured, with pedals and bottle cages. I’m running Michelin Pro 5 35 mm tires, and they measure 36.8 mm mounted, with plenty of clearance.
