In my opinion that doesnt mean anything and no one can check if they will do. Of cause they say that to a sponsored youtuber, but will they do the same for an average customer?
This kind of statements are absolutly worthless imho.
First of all, Luke isn't a sponsored Youtuber. They sent him a frame for him to build up and review. Why would LC do that other than for the exposure to the TraceVelo audience. They know that he's going to tell his audience everything about his experience, including his experiences dealing with LC's QC and customer service. If they tell him they'll replace the frame, they know he's going to tell his audience that a price adjustment and if that's unsatisfacory, a frame replacement is on the table. They're asking for trouble if they put that out there but fail to live up to that. They told him that they didn't simply increase QC on finished frames, they told him they've worked with the supplier of the latex bladders and have actually altered them, implementing an improvement. Do you think they're lying to Luke? DO you think Luke would relay that information if he didn't believe it was true?
LC puts their reputation on the line by sending Luke a frame. Luke puts his reputation on the line with whatever follows. He risks his livelihood if he doesn't look after his reputation. These statements are only worthless if reputations are worthless.
