I used Speedy Decal and they are great and fast.

Yes - it was white gloss. They are excellent quality. Note that is nicer to have proper decals applied under clear gloss paint, but this way you can change the decals in the future if you get bored.

Has anyone here succesfully build this frame with another stem/integrated handlebars? For example ACR/SMR parts? I am totally confused what parts are and are not compatible with each other (LCR headset, headset top cap, spacers). The reason why I am thinking about this is the relatively long reach (75mm) of the integrated handlebars.

I am also done - nothing special (black glossy, 58). The built was really easy, but omg this seatpost....this is not easy to torque the bolts for the saddle. I already feedbacked this to LightCarbon, i hope they will change the design somehow.

I will give you an update after I've really tested it.

I think the headset and spacers are a fairly popular design (I’m sure someone here might know the correct standard).
I got a set of Toseek bars off AliExpress which fitted perfectly without having to even change the bearing top cap - and the bars have been superb.

Thanks. When I resumed cycling in 2021 I was at 102kg. I'm glad my seatpost coped with that.

So short update concerning saddle and seatpost: It obviously slipped, but i retorqued it and since then it was fine. The saddle also slipped, but same procedure, fine since then.

I think even if it slips, you can mcgyver it with a bit of plastic around the seat tube easily, it is not as faulty as I feared after reading some of the posts here.

But: if someone knows of a fitting seatpost with a different saddle mounting style, please inform me.

I have taken one ride with my new bike with the LCR018-D frame. Really satisfied with the ride experience, feels a lot more stable and stiff compared to my old frame, which is great.

However, the storage door rattled non-stop and the latch mechanism was almost fully opened at the end of the ride.

How have you guys dealt with this? Is there any way to make the door latch more rigid?

I’m going on a 200 km ride this weekend and don’t fancy to pick up the door with bottle cage and bottle by the side of the road (or even worse, hit my fellow riders with it).

Take a look onto the backside of the storage door. The tiny screw can get tightened. I did it before my First Ride and had no losening or rattling issues.

Thanks, but I tried to tighten it but did not succeed. I did not want to brake anything so I did not put an excessive amount of force though. However, the bolt movement follows the arm movement, so I am not quite sure that the bolt actually is adjustable.

I will give it another shot. I have put a order for another frame and requested an additional lid of the new version, which hopefully is better, but the delivery is at least a month away. A lots of biking will happen until then…

AFAIR you must keep the screw in place with something else and just turn like a little teeny bit. After my initial fall-offs on Gravel, nothing like this happened since October last year. I also applied a little bit of duct tape on the top lid in the frame and a little bit at the side to make it very tight to avoid rattling.

I read through the whole thread while working on my order with Jim without being able to see the photos. Finally had my registration approved and now enjoying going back to see everyone’s frame colour choices!

Learned a lot from everyone’s experiences with little niggles.

Also changed my mind on the downtube storage and took it out because I realised the BB and head tube stiffness difference was enough for me to notice in my fast group rides and racing.

I reckon this frame will make a real impact on the longer rides and races, particularly the ability to hold aero position for long periods at a time!
