Finished building mine, but I absolutely cannot get the rear caliper aligned at all. Have tried another wheel that works in another bike without any issues so I don't think it's a rotor issue. I am worried it's a brake facing issue since I can see the caliper start to tilt as I tighten the bolts down... Anyone else run into this problem?

Does anyone happen to have a photo of their LCR018-D frame/bike in glossy black? I’ve gone through almost all the pages of the thread, but the only black frames I’ve seen are either matte, raw carbon matte, or raw carbon glossy, but never glossy black.

Inner width 23mm, should fit 30C-45C, I will likely run 32mm most of the time but nice to get the extra width. Not seen anyone really discuss them here, perhaps known under a different name? Option for Sapim spokes which I'll upgrade to if I go for it

I also worked with Jim on a wheelset and ended up purchasing the C53DB-URD28-450CRay-24H/24H-UD-M wheels.  They should be shipping later this week.

mine was quite bad with paint overspray on the front and rear, had to scrape the paint off and fiddle around to get it not to rub.

same hear. due to paint. Common problem with many frames.

Pro's would use a "Park Tool DT-5.2" or such.

Alternative ways:
- As mentioned before, gently scrape brake mount off on the side that is too high.
- Or sand it off
- hack if it tilts only a little bit: stack a few layers of  e.g. electrical tape on top of each other. cut small piece of that off. stick it to the side of brake caliper that is too low. mount. check if ok, otherwise add more

Yes.  Just built mine last week, front and rear brake bosses did the same thing in torquing the caliper to a weird angle.  Had to analyze the angle(s) it was setting the caliper wrong, and sanding them flat according based on how each was angled.  It takes mounting the caliper, looking, unmounting, sanding, mounting, looking, unmounting, sanding at least twice for each.  Make sure whatever you use as a sandpaper backing block is dead flat with no flex, like a small piece of glass.

You may end up sanding what isn't clear coat or paint, so wear a mask and do it outside, then wash up you and your clothes immediately due to the carbon dust.

Or just spay it with water before and during the sanding, so there are no airborne particles.
No need to over complicate it.

Most of the time you can just use a blade to scrape off the excess paint and the carbon is untouched. The carbon is way harder than you’d think.

Ah okay, I am actually relieved to hear it is not too uncommon of an issue. Certainly would appreciate if it were faced properly from the factory but I was more worried about having to get a new frame entirely! What grit sandpaper do you guys use for this?

Ive just had mine built, and mechanic said he had to face the brakes with some special tool. Ill be posting pics of mine when I get a chance.

Some where in the thread someone had listed all the diff bolt sizes, for a ti switch over. Can anyone recall, and kindly let me know the seat clamp bolt, bottle cages, saddle clamps bolts etc

Five separate posters reporting brake mount alignment/facing issues. As someone who's waiting for delivery of a new frame, that's very discouraging. I suppose I'll ask Wendy to check that they're properly faced before they ship the frame.
