Watched it….he puts a lot of focus on gravel riding with it….fair enough if that’s what you want it to do, but I’d class it more as aero endurance - this is where the bike excels. I feel like the gravel tag unfairly gives you an initial impression of it being slower….and I can confirm this thing is as fast as you want it to be on the road.

Nice to have the versatility of course, but he only threw in a few lines about using it on the road with slicks as an option - the whole focus of the video should have been turned on its head with a focus on road primarily and a diversion into light gravel as an option - that shows the bike off at its best.

I agree fully after watching. I think most of us use this as a road bike with gravel option. None the less, glad to see it was overall, a positive review.

I paid $699 on march 11 for my frame and $15 for the Shimano BB.  no paint.

I want something in the classic dark british racing green, matching the sample they have on web page. YS7935. And everywhere I look, this is a quite dark color. The color Wendy sent me as an example is like twice as bright. Like 2x the L in HSL color.

I ordered the C52DB Disc Brake wheels with the upgraded C-Xray spokes with my frame.  They discounted the wheels to $489 plus delivery.  (frame and wheels was $283)

Hi everyone,
Does anyone here have this frame in a full silver/grey colorway or perhaps a custom combination using these light tones?
I’d love to see how the light hits these aero shapes in the wild.
Also, can anyone recommend the C53DB wheelset from LC? I’m looking for a 50mm depth carbon wheelset with a 23-25mm internal width (running 32-38mm tires). Is there anything else you’d recommend in the $500–$600 bracket (total shipped to EU)?

Wendy offers me c53db for 479$ + 120$ shipment to PL. Its not possibile to ship it together with the frame in one package.
Have you received your wheels already? If so, any thoughts?

After a loooong wait with delays (handlebars I ordered were out of stock) I finally got the shipping info. Unfortunately, I had to pay 200 CAD import fees to UPS. Is this a Canada thing? Really surprised at the price.

Side note - last piece I need is a bottom bracket, steered away from the one they provide because of comments here but kind of wishing I went with one of the ones they sell now because my LBS has a wheels mfg t47i for shimano but it's ~200 cad. Is the wheels mfg worth it?

My other option is praxis for $70 but will take 1-2 weeks to arrive and I'm hoping to get it before the frameset arrives. Any other brands BBs I should look into?

If I were to wait 1-2 weeks maybe there are some good options from AliExpress?

I am looking for something for the same frame and probably will go with Serenade. I didn't contact yet but it will probably cost around 600$ at 1170g of weight.

I went for the upgraded CEMA ceramic BB from LC. Cheaper than anything I could find in Canada for the same spec. Happy with it so far.

Did UPS give you a breakdown of the charges from CBSA? I had to pay $50 in fees/taxes/charges for my frame. I think it would depend on the value LC put for the value declaration, to directly how much you had to pay.

I wish I bought the same, hindsight 20/20. I don't think so. I can't find it on the tracking page

Leaning towards the LCR018 in this silver chrome to black gradient. Planning to pair it with Serenade 50mm wheels (1318g) and 105 Di2 when I find a good deal. This visual shows the goal. I’m aiming for a total weight around 8 kg. Do you think it’s realistic with this setup?

Yes. See my post above ... 8.05kg (framesize 520)

Things where I could easily still save weight:

• lighter wheelset > -200g > next season, 50mm wheels (1100g)
• tubeless > -200g > next season
• cassette > 11-34 instead of 11-36 or using a light ztto cassette
