Does anyone have detailed pictures or a full kit to judge how much you can shove in the storage?

I'm using two storage bags stuffed with:
- spare tube
- chain lube
- mini tool
- 2 tire levers
- some other small things

Bit of a strange question, but basically I’m 1m91 (6'3") and I’ve just finished building up my LCR018-D.
I bought an 80mm stem (mistake...), but I’m wondering if the frame might actually be too small for me.
By any chance, are there any people who are at least 1m90 (6'3") who have a photo or video of themselves on the LCR018-D? I’d like to compare to see if it’s okay or if I just have weird proportions.

Yes V3 looks like it works with gravity which is a relief.
I’ve put loctite on the v2 bolt which makes a big difference, also foam on the top edge makes a big difference too - although as it compresses over time the looseness will come back, so the bolt is the  priority.

It definitely should be sorted before leaving the factory now - email to make sure as the v3 requires removing the currently riveted holder at the top and replacing it - Carol sent me a photo of the revised plate. She will send me one after I said I’ll have a go at re-riveting it myself.

In terms of service and quality, I’ve had bigger problems with much bigger brands. Fair play to Light Carbon for actually following up and revising designs and trying to solve problems - they don’t ghost you, so a big thumbs up. Considering the price,l and the newness of the frame, you’ve got to give them some leeway here. Don’t come in expecting western service levels on a bike at a quarter of the price it probably would be if you were paying like for like here (I’m looking at you Cervelo Caledonia).

I would have no hesitation in ordering from them again, and in fact I’m 99% certain to put a preorder in for the LCR020 as soon as details are released.

Has anyone received the V3 of the storage cover plate? or know when they will start shipping with them?  My frame is on order and probably still another month away at least so I'm hoping it will come with the revised door design.

my order from early april, just updated to "at painting factory" so i'm hoping to receive it 2-3 weeks to account for 2 weeks to ship to california. i was told i would have the updated storage door so will be happy to report, with photos, when it arrives.

 On mine I have the hard / dense tools, like a foldable set of hex ends, CO2, inflator, etc. at the bottom of the tube.  Right under the cover I have an inner tube wrapped in protective plastic, and above that I have more delicate things like cheater glasses.  Still not full.  It is less space than my downtube storage on the Diverge, but then roadbike tubes are smaller than gravel bike tubes.

I asked Jim late last week.  He said when I asked if my bike (ordered April 4) would have the v3 door:

“Yes, frames from May 10th onwards all feature the new downtube storage cover. The new cover locks when the handle is down and opens when it's up, preventing the handle from sagring and opening due to gravity.”

Saddle Clamp angle slipping issue....

For some reason I'm getting continuous slipping of the saddle angle, and when the LC SD01 saddle slides back on the 15mm offset seat post, it makes it very difficult to get a hex wrench in there without damaging the seatpost paint and carbon.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong.  I did not use carbon paste and have read that it should not be used here.   I have not used any grease either.

The seatpost itself is not slipping down the frame, and the saddle clamp is not sliding on the saddle rails.   
It's the saddle angle that is sliding and moving it backwards which is also reducing the space between the hex head and the seat post. 

When it slides, it also tightens up the bolt to the point where I am stripping the head to loosen.  I am using Park Tool hex wrenches FWIW (just noting that low quality tools are not being used).

Have others experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it?

How has dealing with lightcarbon been to you guys? This isn't my first rodeo with direct chinese sellers but i'm getting a little frustrated. they tend to ignore half my questions and repeat themselves when i ask something else.

I have the same issue, what seems to have worked was screwing with a little bit more force…

This morning I received an email with the track and trace code for my  V3 version of the storage door from Wendy. I almost lost the door 3 times caused by the lever sliding down due to vibrations. My frame is from december 2025

What size is the frame? Also, at your height, the 80mm stem was a mistake thats for sure.

How many questions are you asking?
They are maybe getting fed up and just not answering.
Nearly every conceivable question has been asked in this very thread at least twice over, I’d be very surprised if you can’t find what you need here.
You say it’s not your first experience with dealing direct so you should know what to expect.
They have been helpful in terms of pre and post sale for me, more so than any Chinese factory I’ve tried before.
