similar stuff used for cars to protect from chips and scratches. ridewrap is a name brand version for bikes that is custom cut for popular bikes (ie tarmac, etc).
the paint from LC appears really great…smooth, thick clear coat. i’ve had used steel bikes with a bunch of chips and scratches in the thin clear coat i wish had paint protection. so this paint protection film may be overkill. but for a few dollars and some time for a brand new frame, i figured i’d do it.

https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrRLKN5it’s generic but the pieces fit my 56 frame well. youtube some tips and instructions… i used the wet method. it comes with a little spray bottle and squeegee so pretty comprehensive package for the price. also used hair dryer for tougher corners to help mold/stretch the film.
used a relative cheap ceramic hybrid spray coating i use on the car… just spray some onto a corner of microfiber towel and wipe and buff the entire frame after applying the film. should help keep repel sweat, dust, water, etc off the frame for a bit.
Can you support with product names? Received my frame, would like to do the same, but no experience.
