For me, it turned out to be the rear thru-axle.
I had to tighten it really firmly to make the creaking go away.
I also had a direct mount hanger installed at the time, but I have since switched back to the original UDH derailleur hanger, and now it's fine.
Additionally, I swapped the included bottom bracket for a Praxis bottom bracket. It might be worth checking the rear axle torque before going crazy with the bottom bracket spacers!

appreciate this.  creaks can be difficult.

when i developed one on my gravel bike, i thought it was my bottom bracket after ruling out the seat, seatpost, and pedals.  the shop did too and replaced the bottom bracket, but it didn't solve it. they ultimately tracked it down to the rear derailleur hanger as being slightly loose or some dirt/dust had gotten in between the hanger and frame.  they just cleaned it and tightened it up and i was all good.

so agree, cleaning stuff and making sure everything is tightened up to spec before throwing parts at it is a good (and much cheaper) idea.

Not everyone uses cleats, so “cleat position” would have been unnecessarily specific.

The Venn diagram of people worrying about crank length and people riding with flat pedals makes for 2 large, round, very nice titties. Meaning, even if you're trying to smush them together (pro move), they still wont be any overlap.

Wrong thread. Has nothing to do with this frame

Got my frame today.  Orders on April 4th, add a slight delay for top tube mounts to be added, and again for the bars.  Wish I could say it will be built up soon but kids…

Jim only gave me the swatch identifier which is a very descriptive “YS 2280-1”.  I was going after Enve’s agave blue.  This is greener than that but I’m not mad about it.  And, the lengthy lead time was okay with me since I knew it was going to likely be a fall or winter project.

Loving seeing other peoples paint schemes. I've tried to go for a similar scheme to the Giant Defy SL 2026 frame but not sure how it will come out. Quite nervous about it as it's a big part of a bike. Just hoping they can pull it off and understand what I'm asking for!

Cool, is that the version 3 door with downwards lever ?
Yes, the locked position for the lever is down. Pull up to release. It has a detent that the lever snaps in for the lock position. Also it has foam strips on the lower section of the lid to prevent vibration. I only have 50 miles on the bike since I finished the build Saturday and so far there are no rattles and nothing has come loose :)

Nice 👍🏼
I hope it remains rattle free.

Enjoy your new build

It's pretty rock solid.  I have a 800 ml fidlock bottle on mine without any issue.

Got my frame delivered on Monday - original order date was 10th May so wasnt too bad.

One thing I wanted to check, the parts I got for my headset didnt include the additional washer/spacer that I thought was needed to prevent noise/rubbing.  Have the recent deliveries no longer include this?

I have to say, that i didn't got the small washer and just used some sandpaper in the bottom headset cap, because it was rubbing against the frame.
One month later i first saw that there is a washer in some packages from the other users here  ;D

Received mine June 30 and I also didn't get the washer. As it turns out, I didn't need it.

Still on the fence about what IW wheels to get! I've bought 35mm GP5000's but currently have 23mm IW 29mm OW .. So tempted to go to the 26/31.5 OW/IW that LC sell but just worried I may go below 35mm tyre and then struggle to seat a smaller tyre. Going tubeless if that helps anyone push me one way or another..
