wow!  i wonder how much they charge for now when ordered with the bike?

maybe demand is way up and they have limited supply, or just shipping costs/tariffs?
The price as of this morning is still $49, I just ordered one and it will ship with my frameset.  I think that he is getting hit with shipping cost and tariffs like you suggested.

Isn't horseshoe spacer basically cap for between fork and integrated handlebar?
Thats quite a oversight ...
I've not heard anyone who didn't get one say that they need one. My headset fits fine without one. I suspect LC is including them on a case by case basis.

I'm in the final stages of putting together my order from LightCarbon and wanted to get your opinion before I pull the trigger.

My old bike was a Bergamont Grandurance RD7 in size 58, which actually fit me quite well. However, it was more of a commuter bike rather than a proper endurance bike.

I've now decided to go with the LCR-018D in size 54. For the handlebar, I'm planning to use a 400 x 100 mm setup (400 mm handlebar width / 100 mm stem).

A bit about me:

Height: 180 cm
Inseam: 82 cm
Shoulder width: 40 cm

My old bike also had a 400 mm handlebar with a 100 mm stem, which felt quite comfortable for me.

Do you think this setup makes sense for my measurements and the LCR-018D in size 54? I'd really appreciate hearing another opinion before I place the order.

Bergamont 58: 617 stack
LCR54: 569 stack  48 mm lower
LCR56: 586.8 stack 30 mm lower

The seat angle is also quite different so you'll likely be a bit further back.

54 with a 110 stem would make it smaller, racier chassis, plenty of standover.
56 with a 100 stem is a bit more geometrically similar to the bergamont and probably a better fit.

have you clipped it in properly.  should be very snug.  Are you sure it isn't your cables rattling?
Yes, 100%.
With the foam on that cover, it is quite now. The brake cable is housed in anti-rattling foam.

Take a closer look on the HBR17 vs the HBR14 handlebars.
HBR17 looks a bit  :o in real world. If HBR14 was standard, i guess no one would take the HBR17 voluntarily

Carefull with reach as hbr17 handlebar has 75 cm reach. I lowered my stem from 110 to 90 as my current handlebar is 50 cm reach so need to shorten it 20 mm. Effective reach is ez way of translating what stem u need from one bike to another.

In other news Wendy confirmed size 54 can stack to 675 mm height (60 mm in headset spacers and 46 mmin handlebar added on 569 stack) to handlebars so it can achieve mine required height of 655 mm i have on my current bike. Tbh i heard u can have some extreme riser handlebars like from Tavelo with 20 mm risers if u need height ( does look horny  8) ). So rn its 99% size 54 frame for me.

I do have shoulder width 42 cm but i went with 400mm handlebars a bit more tucked in to test it.

For cables I used some tubes from AliX that is more or less designed to fit the brake tubes.  Local bike shops carries them as well.
Used where I found relevant. So downtube.

Hi there,
What is the main difference between 02HS and 13HS?

Factory samples are inconsistent so it's really hard to decide. I've seen so many examples of these colours but without reference to each other it's also hard to evaluate what is what.

Maybe you've done better research or had experience with both? Please provide some tips and thoughts about those colours.

Thank you!

I confirmed 013hs chameleon color for me u do have wendys yt channel with live recording of painted frames.
I believe 013hs is copper and purple while 02hs is copper and dark red so its more dark.

https://m.youtube.com/@wendychen6785 - check for chameleon colors.

I firstly wanted 01hs but thought of it as 2 bright and 13hs seems like middle ground between 02hs and 01hs.

You can also check subreddits r/chinesecarbon r/bikeporn for color examples and ofc this thread.
Then again you can search color codes but those are from Chinese manufacturers so could be harder to find on google what exactly are the colors.

Edit: my bad i thought on 07hs instead of 02hs.
It seems 02hs is brighter version of 013hs.

Edit 2: this is what i found for color codes 013hs and 02hs:
013hs - vibrant purple, deep blues, and dark metallic carbon tones depending on the angle of light.
02hs - a dominant purple hue alongside an orange-gold undertone depending on the sunlight and viewing angle

Hope it helps.

Hard to tell how correct my assumption is, as I don't know you body measurements and lower threshold of comfortable fit, but this is very extreme size swap. If you are comfortable on Bergamont and want a bit racier feel, get size 56. Size 54 will require monstrous stem and a Jenga of spacers, or else you're gonna sit like a shrimp which will be neither fast nor comfortable.

I was quite worried that british racing green would be too bright a green. And most samples have some strong light source on it.
Here is a couple photos, the one where it leans on the wall is 30 minutes before sunset. It is way darker than sample images, and very close to what I wanted.

The other image during assemply is take in show, but well lit, and you can clearly see the green where light reflects better on the surfaces.  The black logo on the downtube is almost invisible in normal daylight unless you turn the bike sideways. It all depends on light reflection. I really like this effect.

personal preference re: looks.  the HBR14 is the older “look” for sure. not sure how many of the newer riser bars you’ve seen but handlebars are going through a bit of an evolution right now.

the HBR17 is lighter, using some of the fancier M40 carbon fiber and titanium stem bolts, while still being plenty stiff.  and in terms of fit, has a slight rise and slightly greater flare in the drops.  so yeah, i think i would’ve still picked the HBR17 over the HBR14 given a choice
