Guys, need support, I try to install the Cema T47 bottom bracket that LightCarbon offers. I can’t get either cup to start threading by hand at all — it just keeps turning without engaging and falls straight back out. Cup on the drive side, counterclockwise. Cup with the center sleeve on the non-drive side, clockwise, correct? What could go wrong?

Drive side is counterclockwise while non-drive side is clockwise, yes. I don't know whether it matters but in Cema's documentation, they have the sleeve on the right cup.

Can you check the direction of the BB threads to make sure the shells were installed correctly? And do the cups catch the BB threads if you inverse the rotation?

I have built 2 lcr018 frames now after a big crash on my first frame. My second frame came with this updated seatpost clamp 3 weeks ago, just like in the picture and is definitely different and has more bite to it. I never had problems with slip on my first frame after putting carbon paste on the smooth surfaces of the top and bottom portions of the seatpost clamp which touch the middle portion. Also dont put too much carbon fiber paste on your seatpost - less is more. I weigh 90kg.
Your input clears this up.  Based you receiving your second frameset just three weeks ago, it sounds like I should be getting the new clamp with my order.  Thanks

the CEMA BB has directional marks on all parts. hard to get it wrong unless you accidentally interchanged L and R. always gently screw it in by hand first.

I ordered the ceramic CEMA (thought i try ceramic once again). took me 2 aproached with this thing to get dub wide chain line spacing sort of right.
after a few km i wanted to try different crankset. but ceramics bearings didn't survive a really really mild hit with my rubber hammer onto the spindle  :o

anyone got long term experience with the CEMA ceramic bearing? can't believe it is that fragile

I want to install a 3 mm headset spacer but the ones I got with the frame are only 5mm or 10mm. Anyone knows compatible options I could buy or a 3D print available?
Did anyone changed the height of the headset spacers without the options given but LightCarbon ?

Yes If its not furnished with your brakes you need to buy some

I have been using them for 6 months now. No problems or complications since installation. I did notice, however, that it was very difficult to get a DUB crankset through. I have never had that with other crank and bottom bracket combinations.

It seems like their bearings are very tight. I bought the CEMA BB and had to get a new bearing sent to me. My 24mm crank would not physically fit through the bearing. Kudos to CEMA for being very quick to help resolve the issue.

Since that, I have about 2500km on the BB and have been very happy.

indeed. super tight, thats why i needed the rubber hammer. but after 1 hit the BB sounded like a sack of nails

The LC web page is showing adapters being used for both front and rear brake caliper installations.
