Did anyone perhaps did a combo of C53DB or C52DB  Lightcarbon rims with Michellin pro 5 TLR or Pirellies Pirelli P ZERO™127 tpi (tube version) in 700x32c variant or even in other size.
Just want to know is the mounting process goes.
I will run TPUs but would maybe go tubeless just don't want to have another issue like on Vittoria Rubino TLR where tire came on so hard i got splinters on my hands and even with mounting tools it was still hard to mount. (on older aluminium rims though).

LCR018-D Sizing Chart Seems Off

Just joined the forum. What a great resource - thanks everyone for all the helpful information.

I'm trying to make sense of LightCarbon's sizing recommendation for the LCR018-D. They recommend a 52cm for riders 173-179cm. That frame has an effective top tube of 535mm and a standover of 75.6cm.

For comparison, a 51cm Cannondale Synapse is recommended for riders 165-175cm It has an effective top tube of 542mm and standover of 75.2cm - not very far off from the LCR018.

A medium Trek Domane Gen 5 is recommended for riders 162-173cm. It's effective top tube is 541mm and much higher standover of 775mm.

I'm 171cm with a 76.8cm inseam. The Synapse in 51cm and the Domane in medium both fit me. The LCR018 52cm doesn't seem any bigger than these endurance frames, and might even be a little smaller. And yet it's recommended for riders 173cm. I'd also be running 700x32 tires, which might drop the standover a bit more. But LightBicycle recommends the 50cm for me, and from what I'm reading here, that would probably be what most people would recommend for me as well. But it really seems like a 52cm LCR018 is the closer match to these other frames that I know are my size. I need the higher stack of the 52cm. I'm moving from a silly-looking 52cm Aethos with a massive spacer tower and 17 degree stem. I'd still probably need 20-30mm of spacers on the LCR018. The 50cm would probably fit too, but everything points to the 52cm for a 171cm rider.

Am I missing something?

The serial number sticker under my bottom bracket of my LCR018-D has fallen off. Does anyone know if the serial number is on the frame somewhere besides that sticker? I didn't see one during assembly but I'm hoping that I just missed it.

I know there's a number on the fork steerer tube that seems more permanently affixed under some kind of coating but I believe it different from the frame number.

Thankfully, my sticker fell off while the bike was in the house so I still have it, although the numbers are faded and some can no longer be made out.

If it helps, we have the exact same height and inseam measurements, and I went with the size 50. I have 9 bikes that I have acquired over the years, and all but one of them I have had to change something (mostly stem length, and/or stack height) to get them close to fitting me okay - 7 are in the too large category, while 1 of them is too small.  Only one of my bike purchases over the last 45+ years has fit me like it was made for me, that bike is the size 50 LCR-018D. Granted I do have 30mm of spacers, but that is because I'm an old man who doesn't bend that I use to - lol.  I was in the same boat as you, I was lending towards the size 52 but I'm glad that i went with the recommended smaller size.

Just to add another data point if it helps, I am 173 cm with 80 cm inseam on the dot and went with a size 50 instead of the 52. I think it's better to err on the side of caution since it's a lot easier to make the smaller bike bigger than vice versa.

Glad I went with size 50. I do have have to run 2 cm of spacers with the 110 mm stem but it fits really well, and I no longer get any neck pain compared to my supersix evo which was 20 mm lower and 20 mm longer than this bike.

Having ridden bikes the wrong size for years, i'm happy to read that. Enjoy your bike that now fits you :)

I have the same measurements as you, 170cm height, 76cm inseam.
Currently riding a Scott Speedster (same geo as 2020 addict non rc) in size S, ca. 52cm.
My plan is to order the lightcarbon in size 50. It is sligthly shorter than my previous bike, and I will run 2-3cm of spacers, but that is ok. Do not forget that the handlebars will give you 8mm of rise.
Size 52 would already be too big for me, I would need a 7-8cm stem on that

After a lot of fiddling around, slipping seatpost stuff and creaking noises, my bike is finally working like its supposed to.
Loads of carbon paste and a bit of foam on the storage door cleared my issues in the end.

I just finished a 3 day, 450km ride with 5000hm.
Bike was loaded with a frame bag, top tube bag and saddle bag.
The bike just works fine.
I love my Ultegra Di2 and the Elite Wheels Edge. Would definatly buy all 3 again.
The integrated bike computermount works fine for my Garmin 1040.

Frame has now 1000km, Wheels 5-6000km.

The only slight annoyence for me:
My Lezyine frame bag is too big and is luying on my bottles.
The bottles are sitting quite high and the top tube is quite low... bad combo.
The rear bottle bolts could be way lower, or there could be 3 so you could decide if you bolt the cage high or low.
A friend has that option on his ROSE bike and its pretty cool.

Thanks for this (and the others who responded). Yeah, from what I'm hearing the 50cm is the size to go with.

It's still perplexing because the geometry of the 52cm is clearly closer - on paper at least - to the Synapse 51cm and the Trek Domane medium.

LCR018-D 50: ~12 mm lower and 5 mm shorter than Synapse 51
LCR018-D 52: ~2 mm taller and 1 mm longer than Synapse 51

But real world experience trumps numbers. But I've hacked my Aethos (528 factory stack) to a 570+ stack with spacers and a 17 degree stem. My entire goal with a new frame is get into a more upright position without a massive spacer tower and silly 17 degree stem. On paper at least the 50cm just doesn't do that quite as well.

Maybe you can try using a Cage Mount Extender, like this:

Any chance of you can 1) putting out feelers to see if anyone near you has 52 or 50 LCR-018D that you at least take a quick look at and maybe test ride, or 2) see if a local Fitter with a sizing jig would mock up both the 50 and 52, and let you try them out for a small fee.  Beats the hell out of ordering the wrong size...
