This is why i changed from 50 -> 52, because I read this post on page 2 or so:

"LCR018-D 58 real frame is expected to be available around October -December 2025.

LCR018-D costs US$625/set (Black matte finish without logos by default.)
Unit price includes Frame +fork +seat post+clamp +headset bearings+headset spacers +thru-axles+ integrated handlebar HBR17
Optional handlebar HBR17 wide 36/38/40/42cm wide, stem length 80/90/100/110/120/130mm
The size 52cm will be the fist production, and then 50, 54, 56, 47 and 58cm

Shipping cost to  Belgium for one  frame is US$161 by DFS express

Just ordered mine, it will be interesting to see how long it takes. 54CM, custom paint, comes with storage, extra hanger, BB, 2-bottle cages. $1073 US to Vancouver Canada.

Might be a controversial post, but anyone have experience getting a groupset off Aliexpress, ie Shimano 105 or Ultegra? This is a second bike, not sure what components I am going to go with.

Exciting to see pictures of painted frames ready to be shipped. Keep'em coming!

Haven't officially placed my order yet as I'm still thinking about the paint job. I really love the chronos paint job on the Seka spear and I do see that LC has a pretty similar paint job (more silver forward I guess?). I want to have an outlined "Light Carbon" decal on the down tube but i'm trying to decide between dark grey, gold, or a reflective laser mirror outline.

I think the paint scheme will look better on this frame with the deeper tubes as well.

Thanks for pointing out these photos - I wonder is that logo a customer made special - I think it might look really good full size on the LCR018-D rather than the standard Lightcarbon logo.
I’ll get in touch with Carol and see what the options are, I might try and mock a sample image up tomorrow myself to see how it looks. I was never 100% happy with the standard logo so this may be a slight improvement.

Yeah it works perfectly and as far as I can tell all the parts are genuine. It took about 3 weeks to arrive in the UK.

Just received photos/videos of my 520 size finished painted frame, ready for delivery in about 1-3 days.
They said, it's about 15 days delivery time by airplane to Germany.

I believe the eurobike show bike had 40mm gravel tires so depending on the internal width of the wheelset 40mms will definitely fit.

Probably not possible but i would love to have a second gravel set up with the new elite gravel aero+ wheelset and 38-40mm gravel tires. I think it would definitely balloon-up too much though

I got different information regarding UCI approvement from Carol:
"Yes, for the LCR018-D, we have already prepared the document for UCI approved. I suppose you can see this frame on the UCI approved list around end of this year."

Hey fellow 018-D Lurkers!

First of all: big thank you to all of you for sharing all these valuable infos - also great to see LC active on this forum.

I’ve recently ordered a 58cm (lead time end of October) with an own, custom design.
Was in contact with Wendy and overall I’m very pleased with the ordering experience. Due to the kind of complicated design it took a while to dial everything in (and at some point Wendy should have told us earlier that some parts of the planned design is not possible to paint, would have saved a couple of hours of work with the designer) but in the end we‘ve found a good solution.


I am 193cm with a 93cm inseam. I’ve used Bike-stats to match the position of my Dropbar MTB and went for a 110mm Stem.
The bike is going to be a long distance/all road project.
Will use my 45mm Light Bicycle WR45 wheelset (with a SON Delux & Carbon Ti X Hub).
Biggest challenge will be the routing of the dynamo cable to my front light.
Groupset is likely a mix of Force E1, and Garbaruk Stuff. 44T to 52-10
