What was the result? What does the finish look like in real life? Is it a straight, neat edge?

All is perfect - just an optical illusion with the carbon layup.
I’ll try and get a photo posted later this evening, sorry haven’t had a chance as yet.

I received my frame. Long review to come this week end but in short : I am very amazed with the quality finish of the frame (inside / outside).

NB : I have not ridden it yet. I am looking forward to test it with my lovely Tagoola wheels.

Had a small start at the build tonight.

All going well - the rear brake cable was easy to install using a ZTTO internal guide tool, plus the storage opening made things even easier - especially when routing the foam liner down over the cable.
Headset bearings for anyone interested are MH-P16. I might get some black oxide versions from Aire Velo bearings next time around.
First disc build for me so interesting to see the little spacer that sits on top of the top headset bearing - very neat and allows easy routing of cables through.

Rubber di2 battery holder is a lovely addition - shaped perfectly for the seatpost and gives a very neat finish.

Next up is to plonk the bars on and try and figure out a stack height so I can cut the steerer and get the bars on there.

Looking great, is that matt raw carbon on your frame? Also, what will be your inner rim dimension and tire combo?

I’m currently trying to decide whether to order the frame with or without the storage compartment. Would it be possible for you to measure the storage box so I can check if my electronic mini pump would fit? Its dimensions are 70 × 57 × 31 mm and is there a rubber cover for the seatpost to protect from moisture? Thanks!

For those of you that already got the frame, does it come with any kind of chainstay protection, even a minimalistic one like clear tape?

No - ive never had a frame come with any protection and not something ive never felt the need to add - but a pretty easy fix if it bothers you.

KRoser, yes, somewhere in the first pages of this topic there's reference to that option (when someone stated that LC was accepting orders). But that was for the first production batch. Not sure of it's still valid right now, better check that with someone at LC...

Iam kinda lost with that internal storage option. I really like that internal storage, I dont mind the look, but I was kind of worried it will have impact on frame stiffness and how seal that door is, if it is not just another point for creaks and failure.

Can some of you lucky guys who already have a frame post photos of that storage door from inside. How seal it is, is there some rubber around, does it fit in frame snugly and does not rattle?

So my frame arrived yesterday and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and delivery, even though the package looked beaten up and had a hole punched in while travelling around half the globe the contents of the package were in pristine condition.

I cannot wait to start building now.

Just a question for the guys that already got their frame: how hard was it to open the storage compartment? Either I am too stupid, or it requires a lot of strength on my individual frame. So far I was too scared to go hard on the lever. Inspection from the inside with an endoscope showed no abnormalities just maybe the screw is locked too tight. Carbon layout looks marvellous. Also, there is some kind of rubber buffer to prevent it from rattling I think.
