Build is continuing slowly, but very smoothly indeed.
This is one of the nicest and easiest frames I’ve worked on - a real joy to build.

I was so happy with the finish of the frameset that I decided to go for the Frames & Gear direct mount derailleur hanger. What a great decision that was - it is an absolute piece of art.

That looks so good! Can I ask where you purchased from? Any weight saving over the LC part?

My size 50 frame is finished and will be shipped soon 🤩
It's raw matte carbon with black logos and a storage compartment 😊

You can buy direct from www.framesandgear.com, but they are stocked by some retailers too depending on your location (I ordered direct).
Website claims weight at 21.5g. If anything I imagine the Light Carbon hanger will be slightly lighter, but we're talking such a small amount of weight here.
The main benefit is that its direct mount so I can get rid of the B link and it also looks fantastic!

I am ordering a Ferrari red frame but every time I see the raw carbon, I second guess my decision. Looks so good!

Nice! Great to see some 50s roll out (my size). Is the decal just a basic black or does it have a specific finish?

That's a good choice! I went for Ferrari red too. The colour swatch on LC's website does not do it justice. Its a pearl - not a solid red. Note: this is not my frame or picture, but a pic I found on-line. My frame is on order and I hope the colour will look as good as this.

This is the supposed to be the same colour. It looks great and I can only imagine in person. Makes me excited, I expect I should see my size 50 frame early January. Fine with me, Canadian winter gives me time to build everything.

Edit - I am dumb and can't get the hyer link to work... Look up on youtube Complete bike SHIMANO R8000 groupset disc brake carbon frame Bicycle 700*30C Paint:YS3293 TT X34

The stickers are only black and water transfer, which is dried at high heat and very smooth 👌

It looks even better in the video! I'm glad I asked to have my seat post painted too.

It's not you, it's the forum's software. Always had issues with YT links. Broke entire pages before the last update even ... Best to use the "code" markup for it, like so:

Code: [Select]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0U3DR0b8kI
It does not embed the video but at least you can post it and people can copy/paste it. Best workaround I found so far.
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

Just placed my order.

Went for a 58 size frame, stem 110, omm offset. 440 handlebar. Asked for 40mm of spacers wich wasn't a problem.
Full orange, glossy spray with lightcarbon logo in white.

For reference: im 190cm, inseam of 90,5cm, maybe this will help anyone.

Can't wait for it to arrive. First time building up a bike, but i've got the whole winter to complete the build.

That looks amazing. Can I ask you what model hangar this is? Is it the udh compatible direct mount for Shimano? Works ok with the lightcarbon thru axles?

Hi guys. Long time lurker and very rare poster here. Have a 58 incoming and just planning the build. Have a ultegra di2 12sp group waiting to go on this bike but confused about one thing. Do I need an adapter for the rear brake piston to run a 140mm rotor on the rear? Planing on a 160 front 140 rear.

No adaptator needed.
