What length expander plug comes with the frame? Probably 30mm? Anyone order a longer one, any recommendations?

Finally, after months of faffing I’ve finally ordered one.
I’ll be on my winter bike until March, so there was no point having it here before Feb.

Looking forward to testing it and seeing how far they’ve come compared to the various other frames I’m used to riding.

I'm considering this bike as my next do-it-all on road and gravel bike with 2 sets of wheels.

On the road I like fast group rides and I join the occasional crit race where 45km/h avg speeds are not uncommon. This fall I discovered gravel riding and I love it!

I currently have a 7kg road bike with rim brakes, 45mm carbon hoops and 28mm tires. This bike is getting old and I want to replace it.
I also have a gravel bike with 40mm tires and 46 chainring with 11-42 cassette. This is good enough for where I ride.

I was thinking if I sell both and build up the LCR018-D with two sets of wheels I can perhaps save some space in the garage and build this one up with nice components as a fast racer for both terrains.

I'm gonna slam the stem completely and then still I will be a bit more upright than how I'm currently positioned. A slightly longer stem would help me get in a good position. I really do like the gravel bar on my current bike with 15 degrees of flair. But I don't want that much flair on the road. Something in between could be the sweet spot (an acceptable compromise) for both gravel and road.

What are people's takes on the HBR17 bar? I like how it looks, but I don't like the 8mm lift and the fact that it's missing a bit of flair. Has anyone ordered without that bar? What could be a good alternative?

Edit: Nvm, I just noticed on the lightcarbon website that this bar has 7 degree flair! They should update that spec in their catalogue

What color/s do you go for?

Gloss clear over carbon.

Over the years I’ve stripped 14 frames down to bare carbon and re clear coated them.
It’s always been my thing, so it was the only choice I was interested in.
Plus it’s lighter and less expensive.

I personally hate logos, or any writing on my frames so it’s as bare as they come.

Can I ask - do they put clear paint coat over the decals? It appears that way.

Yea I think the whole bike including the logos is clear coated

If the question is directed at me, then I can say that I installed the complete SRAM Rival XPLR 2025 groupset, and the crankset is a wide version. I also installed the original SRAM wide bottom bracket, which is mounted with two spacers, and that worked perfectly 👌

I’ve always been dubious of the claim a 54 chainring will fit.
What size do you have on there?

I was planning on regular Force crank arms with a Garbaruk 48t. They have a few mm less offset than an SRAM chainring, so hopefully that’ll work.

I've fitted a 46-tooth chainring and with the wide crank there's still plenty of room 👌
