Received my frame today. Box was beaten up but LC did a good job in wrapping it up. OFC did a unboxing video just in case.

Weights of 58 painted:
Fork (uncut): 439g
Frame: 1134g
Axle front: 27g
Axle rear: 37g
Seatpost: 184g
Cockpit (420x110):342g
Expander: 39g
Full Headset & Spacers: 105g
UDH Dropout: 18g
Computer + Lamp Mount: 24g

Made some quick shots at daylight. The color is incredibly hard to capture, but there are tiny little lightpurple sparkles on the offwhite base - looks super good in sunlight. Hopefully I can start building the bike on sunday.

Size 50. Unpainted

I was hoping an unpainted size 50 would be lighter.. With or without storage box?

Just finished building up my bike.
Size 56 frame with 380x120mm bars. Ultegra 12 speed groupset with 170mm cranks, 11-30 cassette, and 52/36 chainrings. Light Bicycle Turbo 50 wheels with Conti GP5000 S TR, running tubeless with SILCA sealant. Favero Assioma Duo Shi power meter pedals, Selle SMP Nymber saddle, Ahyka aero bottles and Supacaz bar tape.
Total build weight including bottle cages, computer mount and pedals is 8.1kg. Was hoping for a bit less but I'm not a weight weenie so it doesn't bother me too much.
Will hopefully update tomorrow with ride impressions if the Swedish weather allows for it.

Mine arrived today!! Parcel was a bit damaged, but the frame is completely okay, no faults at all! But I didn’t get any paper manual or anything like that! I think I have seen something in this thread on how to mount seatpost / bearings and so on or am I wrong?

Paint job looks fantastic…

I'm going for almost the same config. (Except for 105 instead of ultegra and Ive got garmin pedals instead of assioma :)

Let us know he it rides :)

I would've hoped it would be sub 8kg, but then again, i'm 85kg myself so a few 100gr heavier is acceptable

Here the Torque Sheet…

Who ever came with the idea for the screw placement of the Seatpost…. Worst design ever.

Everything else runs great. The wolftooth t85 dub tool worked very well well on these narrow BB Shells. 50NM without any slip&slide

No hardware at all. No hanger. No storage bag or cover.

After spending a foggy and cold day in the workshop, the bike is ready and I did a short 20k spin to shoot some proper photos.

First Impressions of the Ride
- great position - can imagine going 10+ hours on this
- good and fast acceleration and direct in corners - but not as a full on racer (which is good)
- absolutly silent

Partlist:
Frameset: LCR18-D 58cm
Wheels: LB WR45 with Sapim CX-Ray / CX-Sprint, Son Delux and Carbon Ti X-Hub SL
Groupset:
- Force E1 Brifters with Hope RX4 Calipers
- Force E1 Road Powermeter Crankset with Raketa 42T Chainring
- 1295 10-52 Cassette
- Rival D1 XPLR Derailleur with Garbaruk Cage (to shift the 52 Cog)
- XX Chain
- DUB Road T47 BB (used 1*3mm DUB Spacer on the drive side)
- SRAM CLX-R 160mm Discs
Tires: Michelin Pro5 35mm, Cyclami TPU Tupes
Bartape: Burgh X
Cages: Canyon CF SLX with Titan Screw
Specials: Sinewave Beacon 2, Allygn EdelMÜ

Weight: 8.55KG (without all the Dynamostuff, the bike would end up somewhere at 7.95KG)

The building process was super easy. I´ve build a lot of bikes and I did not had any errors or problems. Of course, the routing of the cables takes a while but is not that bad to be honest.
Some things Lightcarbon should think of changing:
- Adding some sealings to the Headset (Im happy that I changed to Stainless with good seals) Its basically all open.
- changing the position of the Seatpost Locking screw (barely possible to reach it with a torque wrench)
- chaging the mechanism of the Saddleclamp: its pure shit - go for something easy to adjust like thomson or all the others. This design is hard to reach and a pain to change a few degrees. Who ever came along with this design should be punished by mounting saddles with this post until the end of life... :D

Other than that: easy peasy.

Tipps / Recommendations:
- For all the DUB/SRAM users. Get yourself the WolfTooth DUB T47 BB Tool. Great design, very solid.
- Get Stainless Steel Headset bearings, use loads of grease
- Tape down the front hose to the fork steerer
- Apply loads of grease to the whole front steerer (especially whats IN the frame) by that, you prevent damage due to the rear hose rubbing on the steerer in the headtube)

Awesome.
This is the closest build to what I’m putting together.

Do you have the spec of the headset bearings? I need to order some for mine before it arrives.

I’m looking forward to the BRR review of the Pirelli TLR RS 35mm. It might outperform the Pro5 in some conditions, or be a summer alternative.

The Enduros are right, but I bought some Stainless Steel for nearly half the price. Just check your local/or web shop bearing shop.

Thanks both of you.
I always fit stainless in internal routed frames/ bars.

Perfect as I have some 45/45 already, so that’s handy.

Got a quick 1h ride in the rain today. No complaints at all. My previous bike was a Merida Scultura Endurance and this frame feels noticably better. I did a couple of 1600W sprints and the responsiveness and stiffness of the BB and handlebars was way greater. The handling was good and when descending at 60kph with crosswinds i had no issues with stability. I have to tweak my position a bit more so I'll refrain on commenting on the comfort until I get it dialled. I'll probably not ride this bike outside again until it's dry outside but the first impressions are very positive.

I have to agree that the seatpost clamping mechanism (and overall adjustment) is a terrible design.
An absolute pig to get at the bolts and hard to adjust and keep everything in place before trying to tighten.
I tend to micro adjust my position and have nearly rounded one of my bolts already as I’m having to go in at an angle to tighten - a really, really bad design choice.

I wonder if the seatpost shape is the same as any other brand??
I would love to be able to find a seatpost that has the 2 bolt TCR type adjustment system.
It would take away the only problem I have with the bike overall as everything else has been faultless.
