About 35.8mm on the LB. I was hoping for more.

Me too hahaha since the Power Cup are ridiculously big (28c measuring 32,5mm on 25mm internal rims!!)
Was definitely hoping for a 38…

On my lightbike WRs hooked, they do measure 38 @ 42 psi.
It took a few Ks of riding but they do grow a bit. Not that a couple of mm make any meaningful difference.

The seat post isn't slipping - there is a fundamental design problem with how the saddle clamp bolts are accessed.
Its next to impossible to access them without either scraping against the seat post or having the bit at an angle - neither of which are ideal, and should have been thought about before this design was approved.

For those who are visual like myself. You can see with the allen key, there is just enough space for it to be straight into the bolt. When you try to use a torque wrench, the head of the wrench and base of the socket hits the seat post. Causing the tool to sit slanted in the bolt and cause it to slip/round out the head. Possibly a longer allen socket would work but you would hope it works with what most people would have.

A revised seat post with better access to the bolts would be nice. Not a deal breaker but I can see it being annoying when building the bike.

A n extended socket is clearly required to get a torque wrench on those bolts. Perhaps this:

In my first reply to Chloe I have asked a number of questions. Among them is the pricing for basically every spare and replacement part:

  • Seat post clamp
  • Rubber seat post clamp cover
  • Second fork (painted the same as the first)
  • Additional 0mm offset seat post
  • Additional 15mm offset seat post
  • Headset
  • Headset spacers
  • Derailleur hanger
  • Storage box cover
  • Front derailleur mount
  • Thru axles

1 use a ball end bit so it can “go in” at an angle. That’s what they’re designed to do.
2 use a long hex bit like you’d use for the hex on the main shifter fastener.

Yes, but they are “make-do” solutions to a problem that should never have gotten past the design stage.

I agree, it’s a bit of a strange design, but it is what it is.
I’ll be changing mine to Ti panheads.

Shorter head, so shallower angle for the hex bit
On the minus side there will be less head engagement.

A big positive is they will look neater and less of an eyesore.

so i just measured the outside diameter of the BB, senicx says it is 49mm but i measure 52mm. So thats why my 50mm tool doesn't fit.
Should i then buy the HEPPE 52mm or the 52,2MM tool just to be sure?
