I have bought carbon frame from Ceccotti - DCMF07 29er (Full inner Rev) 148*12 BB92 http://www.ceccottibike.com/product/html/?194.html

I payed 335$ with shipping, i ordered L size with chameleon paint.

Now i need some advice for components.

I am thinking to buy RS SID fork but, i do not know if 120mm or 100mm version. If 100mm, i will look for used ultimate, what would you advise me? And what is the thing with different offset?

Then about bottom bracket, is stock that comes with chinese bikes ok, or should i buy shimano bb92 xtr version and use this?

Hi all! My first post.

Any educated quesses about how much torque you can put on the little scew in the seatpost wedge clamp?
I think some carbon paste is a good idea here.

a not-too-educated opinion on seatpost-clamp-torque i would not go any further than 5Nm. Just juse Carbon paste and start low, and only use as much as needed to stop it from sliding

other than that - nice color and weight, i´m looking forward to see the final product someday

  Rockshox SID 120mm oem fork
  10+ years old wheelset with chinese 30mm wide carbon rims, have to use boost adapters. This is the weakest link of my build, but if I like the ride, then maybe invest on new wheels.
  Sram Level Stealth two-piston brakes

  Chinese carbon saddle
  Old Enve SWP carbon handlebar
  Kalloy Uno 60mm stem
  "Sram" foam grips
  XT pedals
  Maxxis Rekon Race 2.4" tires, unsure still if I go for tanwall or standard black

Took me 4 hours to tape the damn thing, decided to use two tone taping, clear and transparent carbon for some extra bling

Yes, looking good, almost wish I had gone for the glossy paintjob instead of matte.

Mine is ready. well sort of, there is a bad problem with the rear hub, turns freely in just one direction . Was not able to solve that even when taking the hub apart two times, have to take it to a shop, if they could help.
Also didn't realise that my fork is for 180mm disc rotors not 160mm, doh.
Apart from those, very satisfied with the build, would like the look of a slammed stem, but it's not working for me at this shape that I'm at the moment.

One thing to mention, is that the standover is pretty tall, top tube hits my nuts. But i think it's okay, because the bike is meant for gravel paths and easier trails. I have other bikes for gnarly stuff.

in the package i had something that looks like a rubber gasket/grommet for the seat post, did you put it?

but when i press it to the frame the chainring almost hit the frame,
did you put any spacer between the crank arm to the bb?

I'm not sure if the rubber gasket is for the seat post or headset, but I put it over the headset to partially cover the hole for the cables.
There is still room for rain to get in though, it seems that there is actually room for another cable yet, could it be for a dropper post?

Can't really help you with crankset though, mine is Sram DUB with 32t chainring. I would not want it to be any closer to the frame, couple of millimeters. I put only one 2mm spacer between the crankarm and bb, as per instructions. When I measured the chainline, it was around 50-52mm.
What tooth size chainring did you get?
