That honestly looks ok to me.

I asked for a simple matte beige/ sand color and velobuild gave me the worst paint job Ive ever seen. Looks much more pale yellow/piss color in person. I painted over it already and did an ok job.

No i just emailed photos of what Id like and they said we can do that. I really wasnt too concerned because its really a common color, especially for gravel bikes. But yeah velobuild managed to fuck it up

They did much better than anyone should reasonable expect. Props to velobuild for that paint job. Meanwhile I had a much more simple request and I got fucked by velobuild

I like your idea and also the result, I would have taken it. I am a bit sad I bought black matte , but I wasn't creative enough for a paintjob.

However, my frameset arrived tuesday without seatpost cover and clamp. So I have to wait a few more days, at least VB shipped the missing parts fast, arrival is expected for monday in Germany.
The frameset looks pretty good, all threads are okay and my overall Impression ist quite positive.

Do I have to use spacers when installing a sram dub wide rival crankset on this frame with a t47 dub road wide Bottom Bracket (00.6418.033.001)

Because i have very much Play / the axis seems to be to long

There's a diagram that tells you the spacers you need on srams website, or maybe instructions with BB you got.

Just wanted to post this for anyone trying to run a 2x setup with road gearing here. On the size S frame and possibly other size frames, the hanger is not tall enough to fit a 50t front chain-ring (not sure what the limit is probably around 46t).

To fix this I found this odd part which actually works great, it moves the FD back a few mm, but it doesn't affect shifting. Chris said he would send me a new hanger but I haven't heard back from him for a while, so not sure. Hopefully they can start shipping FD hangers with the frames that work but this is a fine solution in the meantime.

Would be also interesting a 105 Di2 roadie groupset with a 36/53t setup. The description of the frame says up to 53T when running a double crank set.

Finally finished my first build with this frame this week.
Thanks to everyone helping me out with my questions. Learned a lot, had to buy a lot of tools during the process and am happy that i was able to finish it.

Still a bit unsure about the big gaps i have at the fork/headset.

I did experience the same issues as others with the seat clamp and i was a bit underwhelmed by the comfort...it feels harsher than my old cube nuroad AL with 40mm tires and an elita one seatpost. But i thin it will be a good winter bike

Planning to run the same.are you using standard shimano road crankset?

Was a bit nervous because of this and tested it. 105 R7000 Crankset 50-34 with a 105 front derailleur can be mounted without problems (Size S Frame).

Rocket ron 29x2.1... these tires have a more rounded profile.. the clearance seems better than the Thunder Burt 29x2.1

Current weight 7,840 kg.. not bad
