I didn't expect the Thunder Burts (and even the Rocket Rons) to be so fast.

Especially considering they weigh about 600g vs. about 300g for the 38mm gravelking.

Pressures are about 1.6 bar front - 2.0 bar rear for the 29" and 2.4 -2.8 for the 38mm.

Probably already has been answered in previous posts. I run 2x and plenty of room with Thundero 48mm.

For a 1x setup, there's room for most 29x2.1 tires, which are about 50/51mm but with more volume.
I used Rocket Ron and Thunder Burt. I also tried Sworks Renegade 29x2.1, but they didn't fit (they're about 5mm taller than Schwalbe).

Do anybody have acces to a 3d scanner to scan your velobuild integrated handlebars? I dont have access and having an accurate handlebar scan would make things easier and more accurate, I would design the base clamp and share the model for free.

Hi guys,
I bought this frame with the flared version of velobuilds integrated handlebar and stem (100mm stem).
I'm in the process of building the bike. This is my first bike build with hydraulic brakes and integrated cable routing in the headset. So I am a bit of a noob.

I am a bit nervous about the transition of the brake hoses from the spacers to the stem. It is a very small turning radius and there is a sharp 90 degrees edge on the top spacer, which I fear will cut into cable over time.

Of course the cable will not move much relative to the spacer, but I still fear that it over time will wear into the cable.

Have any of you had similar issues/worries? And do anyone have suggestion for what to do? Or am I just making up an issue that does not exist?

Yes, but the spacers are not. You need 2,5 and 5,5 millimetres. I returned my ali bb and ordered an original sram one because with the spacers you need to buy it was almost the same price.

Yes I saw that but with the minimal amount of 10 euro’s for free shipping or the extra shipping costs it was almost the same price to buy the sram one for 39,99.
