Do the new hubs use same bearings as before or lighter, less load restistance/durable bearing?

All of the new hubs use the same bearing specifications as before. The weight reduction has not come from using smaller or lighter bearings. Instead, it has been achieved through additional engineering, material optimisation and hub shell redesign while maintaining the same bearing sizes.
Regarding your question about “less load resistance”, could you clarify what you mean? Are you referring to maximum rider weight, bearing load capacity, or rolling resistance?
As for bearing durability, it’s important to remember that bearings are consumable components. Their lifespan depends on many factors, including:
* Rider weight
* Riding style (racing vs. recreational riding)
* Road and weather conditions
* Maintenance and cleaning
* Mileage and frequency of use
For example, a rider who races regularly in wet conditions may need to replace bearings much sooner than someone who rides once a week in dry weather. Because of these variables, it’s not possible to quote a fixed bearing lifespan.
