Very nice set of wheels!! Just one question: with this finish glossy, do you think it's similar to a Campagnolo wheel? Like the bora wto.. I'm asking because I have this wheel here in my job, and if it's a similar finish, I can have a better idea of how is this glossy finish...

I’m not too sure, Maliba . This is obviously the UD paint-free glossy version, so it’s a gloss finish over raw carbon.
I do get messages and comments sometimes about imperfections, but if you go for the matte version, it’s not really noticeable.

Putting gloss over the carbon just highlights its raw nature. Occasionally, you can see the resin under the carbon, especially in certain lighting.

If you want something that looks much more “perfect,” it’s better to go for a black gloss, where they apply a matte black over the rim first and then the gloss on top.
You’d have to send me a picture if you want me to show exactly what it looks like.

UD Paintfree Glossy

I had a proper ride on them today. A couple of Lakeland passes in mixed weather and I'm very happy. They seem to roll well, cope well with the wind, and are very comfortable. With the amount of standing water about I should fine out pretty quickly if the sealing is up to standard.

yesterday I purchased a pair of wheels from Zen using the same specs that Sander posted here—basically 40/45 mm depth with 24 mm internal front, 25 mm internal rear asymmetric, with carbon spokes in back, etc. I also ordered the crankset, so now it’s just a matter of waiting for the parts to arrive.

One question: I use Shimano on my bike—do you recommend any spider to allow mounting Ultegra chainrings on the crankset?

That spider looks like the one from DFS, if I’m not mistaken. I was checking out a few on AliExpress, which I believe are made of aluminum since they weigh a bit more. I also saw one from Elilee (or something like that) that has a perfect finish with the Shimano chainrings — but it costs a fortune! lol

They are generic. If you do a search on AliExpress thats a photo search a load will come up.

That’s what I’ve been struggling with Elilee seem to be the only brand/seller who seem to do one that is contoured perfectly to match Shimano chainrings. I’ve been looking everywhere for a generic DuraAce model

Is it at all possible to use lets say the Zen Carbon crank (or similar cranks offered by Elilee, XMC etc) with a Magene PES P515 PM spider only by simply not using the crank that comes with that kit?

I like the idea of running a Magene PM but not so much the aluminium crank that comes with it.

Otherwise, I may have to go down the route of an XCadey PM or similar.

The Magene PES P515 uses its own proprietary spider mounting interface - it's not compatible with any others.

Yes, they are compatible. I was meaning that the Elilee ones are the only ones on AliExpress that have the surface contoured to exactly match the Dura ace chainrings. The generic ones seem to have the 4 ‘splines’ not built up as far so that a ridge would show. It’s purely aesthetics though, not performance related.
