Does Tavelo make their frames?

Anyone know if there is a less expensive way to get the Tavelo Arow other than Panda Podium or Ali? Is there a brand making that frame for them I can purchase directly from?

Its supposedly an Adapt QX-B01 but they don't seem to do D2C sales

Adapt/Speeder, or whomever, originally designed and brokered the frame for private branding.

Tavelo had first dibs on exclusivity rights when frame was released. However in order to recoup some of the initial overhead expenses, Tavelo partnered with the brand OAK to share some of the costs. Their Twilight frame is the Tavelo Arow.

So no the frame can't be bought cheaper elsewhere. But the Speeder SC-R55D is basically the same thing if they offer D2C. Probably run you around $850 USD

They are the same company, they have the same address listed on their websites and Eurobike pages. Adapt is the company and Tavelo is the brand. For some reason they are so dead set on keeping public perception of the brands as separate, they even go to Expos as separate entities, based in separate booths, but they are the same. I too used to think Adapt was an OEM and Tavelo were just a separate entity buying Adapt's open mold frames and stamping their badge on them. And then even further, Pertual is a brand under Tavelo's brand, also listed under the same address on their website.

I want to buy their wheelset, they say the price includes free shipping and duties/tax (shipped to EU, but they claim it’s the same to US or EU, same price and all pre-paid), but I found only people buying Tavelo components from pandapodium (where the same wheelset is much more expensive)
Is it safe to buy from them directly?

I bought an Arow frameset directly from them. No additional duties shipping to Germany, but I was in contact with them before ordering to clarify this.

I initially received one wrong headset bearing but after reporting the mistake to them they shipped the right one immediately with express shipping at no additional cost, received it within a week. Obviously could have sourced it locally but since it was winter anyway when I built it, there was no hurry to do so.

They also provided me a custom 3D printed top cover to match a FSA ACR stem/handlebar.

So overall really happy with ordering directly from them.

What do you guys think? Is it actually the same frame or am I missing something?

All of the frames are identical if you look at them from really far away.
