Just received some pictures of the frame I ordered. Size Small, transparent black glossy. Should be in the UK in about 3 weeks’ time!

Do you know if the transparent paint is lighter or available with other colors?

What handlebar is this? Also do you find that the LTWOO shifters clamp just wont tighten enough to not slip. Its probable just me not torquing them enough but don't want to crack anything.

I think it's just a thin layer of normal paint. I ordered a custom transparent pink and was given a couple normal paints to choose from. The result is super dark, but you can see the original color shining a bit under a strong light. Same weight as other transparent colors roughly (785 g), cost was $90. I'm sure a full normal paint job would weigh significantly more.

The transparant colored paint will be heavier. I have ordered the matte clear coat. Should be the lightest (and cheapest) option.
Looks like my frame is going to be delivered on monday. I must say shipping took a long time.

I'm trying to plan ahead and order miscellaneous bits and pieces for a smooth build when the frame arrives.
There's a lot of good info on the updated first post, but im missing some details, i hope you who have the frame can provide some more details .

a) Length of rear caliper bolts or thickness of the chainstay at the caliper mounting point
b) Dimension of saddleclamp bolt (thread and length)

I am about to order one, but I want to run conventional handlebar / stem combinations with my trusty 360/400mm flared bar. Alisa told me that semi integrated cable routing through the headset cover would be possible, but they do not have anything available for that. Has anyone built the frame with a conventional stem? If so, which headset upper did you use?

Yes. Ive done this. The most options would be available for the FSA No 55. headset for aftermarket solutions or the FSA No 69. SRS if you want to use a stock one. The first post on this thread has more details on headset compatibility.

My frame also took a long time to get here (belgium) with a few delays here and there. Looks like most compagnies are a little bussy with the holidays and I guess the China frames are very low on their priority list.

So I finally got my frame this week. It took quite a while, but communication with LT was very good while I was waiting.

I have also started to build the bike and can't say anything bad about it. Everything went fine The matte transparant finish also looks very good.

I am going with a Dura Ace groupset and the Bigrock crank. I am also going to build a new wheelset, but I am waiting for the spokes to arrive before I can finish them and finalize the build.

Frame weight was 750gr. Fork 316 and seatpost about 160.

The way everything is going, I should get a sub 6,3 kg bike in the end (without pedals and bottlecages that is)

Looking at this frame as well.

Reading the ride reviews I read people experience it as a stiff bike. However the weight seems so low to the point it even makes me wonder if it's too good to be true.

How come LT seems to pull of these kind of weights, while the ''reputable'' brands are often quite a bit heavier, even for similar silhouette frames. Especially the LT forks seem stupid light for such a tire clearance and Axle to crown length?

I'm not the lightest at around 77KG. And to counter that weight I need to put in some power to get actually moving up hills . Seeing a 330g fork weight makes me wonder how they get it as light as an Open Mind fork for example, which is one of the skinniest fork I've ever seen.

Looking at the size L. Can anyone with real world riding comment on the perceived flex from the fork/frame? Also under braking/descending etc? Any concerns on longevity/safety?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

a.) I used 32mm bolts with my Hope calipers. Should be the same for SRAM.
b.) Saddle clamp bolt is an m6 x 55mm.
