LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires

Hi All,

Looking at this frame as well.

Reading the ride reviews I read people experience it as a stiff bike. However the weight seems so low to the point it even makes me wonder if it's too good to be true.

How come LT seems to pull of these kind of weights, while the ''reputable'' brands are often quite a bit heavier, even for similar silhouette frames. Especially the LT forks seem stupid light for such a tire clearance and Axle to crown length?

I'm not the lightest at around 77KG. And to counter that weight I need to put in some power to get actually moving up hills . Seeing a 330g fork weight makes me wonder how they get it as light as an Open Mind fork for example, which is one of the skinniest fork I've ever seen.

Looking at the size L. Can anyone with real world riding comment on the perceived flex from the fork/frame? Also under braking/descending etc? Any concerns on longevity/safety?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It's really hard for someone to answer this question definitively without seeing their deflection data or the results of their testing, including a write-up on test protocol. In the small sample size here and in searches I have done, there are no reports of broken forks or frames. Further, while this fork is lighter than the OPEN R Turn fork, its not lighter than the Sworks Aethos and Aethos 2 forks and quite a bit heavier than the stated weight for the Bigrock team edition frame. Having owned and scoped the OPEN R Turn and U Turn forks vs. this one, those forks are messier on the inside. A huge part of that is that their designs are pretty old by now.

a.) I used 32mm bolts with my Hope calipers. Should be the same for SRAM.
b.) Saddle clamp bolt is an m6 x 55mm.

I used he standard bolts that came with the DA calipers.

Hi everyone,

With the news about possibly available XL sizes I'm now switching my focus from LCR018 to one of these instead...

Questions for those already in use;

• Obviously running wider tires gives a lot more comfort, but how is the frame geometry? I'm looking for a basic pot-hole road bike for 100km+ rides, not racing anything except my own PRs...
• I'm around 90kg, any worries for this frame?

Like many others, any input from current owners greatly appreciated!

Yes, that's what I'm thinking about. The JH-35 handlebar weighs 320g (quite light, right?), no issues with the headset, no issues with the spacers, no issues with the seatpost clamp cover. It's not just about the price difference, but also, to be honest, this isn't the most interesting part of the build — searching for the better spacers and seatpost clamp covers bacause stock one is too bad. If these problems didn't exist, there would certainly be no doubt that the LTK266-D-SL looks like an excellent option then.

I don't understand the problem with the seat clamp cover. On mine it fits like a glove and looks nice. Maybe they changed it?

Can you give us a picture on how it looks on your bike? I did not order the seatcover because of the things written about its bad fit/look.
My order is a atleast a month away so maybe not to late to change it if they have improved the quality.

Received the frame today. Everything has made it over safely it seems.
Payment was made 09/12/2025, Alisa said they had a size Small frame in stock, unpainted. I chose for it to be painted transparent black glossy.
Paid USD $849 including PayPal fee, no customs to pay on delivery.

We spoke about the headset issues that other people had had, and she assured me that “that was a long time ago”, however I only received two bearings, a lower crown split ring for the fork (which I don’t think I need) and an expander plug. I’ve only ever built one other bike (Elves Falath Pro disc), and I’m assuming I’ll need to source a top C-ring to reduce the top bearings circumference, and that will make up the remaining stack height, as at the minute, both ends of the head tube have the bearings sitting below the tube, about a 3mm lip.

I bought the Tavelo Avro Gen-1 handlebars with ACR compatibility and those don’t come with the C-ring either.

The seat post clamp cover isn’t the best looking as it overhangs the seat tube and top tube junction.

All in all though everything else seems really good and clean. I’ll keep updating as I go.

- I used a 36x45° 8mm high bearing on the bottom. The gap is about a mm. So maybe 7mm high might be better, but it's OK like it is now.
- I went looking in my spare parts (I thought I ordered 2 bearings, but it turned out I only ordered one) and found a 45x45° 7mm high bearing for the top. With the C-ring that was included with my Avian handlebar it was too low. I had some more C-rings lying around from previous builds and the plastic C-ring that I got for my Hygge bike was about 1mm higher than the other, and with this C-ring it fits like a glove with a minimal gap between top cover and frame.

Are there any seatpost alternatives that are worth looking at? Not sure if the shape is proprietary or not but think it's worth exploring other options!

I bought the FSA 55R headset which I hope comes with the C ring. To be honest I could’ve just bought the C ring in itself as the Tavelo bars come with the headset cover for the integrated cables. I just bought the whole headset in case the bearings are better or have a different inner angle or height. It’s all a bit new to me dealing with different headsets and forks!

Didn't use Di2, but if you unbolt the FD mount, there is a hole, and the FD mount has a machined channel for the wiring. So it should end up really neat.

if you're using my setup as a guide, i advise you to bin all the bearings and rings alisha packed and get an FSA-55R head set. it will work with the ACR compatible spacers that tavelo (or panda podium or whoever) packed with the bars

EDIT: I'm an idiot, i see your later post. Yes the 55R set comes with a C ring. You're all set.
