For those who have used HBR17 handlebar, how did you mount them ? I ordered with the FSA adapter but it's missing the notch to fit into the FSA ACR 55 top cover.

Is the adaptater wrong, or am I missing something ? Or should I use the lightcarbon top cover ?

I used the Lightcarbon top cover.

I wasn't sure what that weird Lightcarbon piece that looks a bit like a spacer was for (maybe a top cover for aero frames?)

I think you just need to use the topcover that comes with the bars.
Similarly, the FSA-supplied topcover didn't work with my tavelo bars--tavelo/panda had supplied their own top cover that worked with the other parts that make up the FSA ACR 55 headset.

Received the frame today. It looks great.

Started building it but was wondering if I need an adapter to run 160mm rear brake rotor. I've mounted my 105 rear caliper as is and when I try to install the wheel the rotor goes too far into the caliper.

But I saw in the discussion that Alisa said it's native 160/160

I havent seen this mentioned yet so I wanted to provide this info:
According to Alisa, both the front and rear flat mounts are designed to work with 160mm brake rotors.

I had thought that perhaps being lightweight the frame would be set up for 140mm, and I would need to buy adapters (the Force E1 groupset bundle comes with 160mm rotors).

If others have built up the bike to the point of mounting calipers and can confirm, that would be great, too.

Mine is set up with a 140mm rear. I think 160mm might have been their design target or smth, but it's a regular flatmount geometry which does require an adapter for a 160mm rotor.

Can anyone who has bought the FSA ACR 55 headset confirm if it came with the compression ring (FSA H2474)? I bought it and it arrived without it...

Ive bought a few and they always come with a compression ring. Some of them have a different one, H2630A. But there should be one in there.

There are some loose carbon fibers visible on the head tube. It seems to be just the last layer. What do you think?

what kind of saddle and cockpit are you running?

I’ve finally taken my SL266 out for its first outdoor rides, and it’s honestly the best bike I own! Fast, comfortable, and a total blast to ride.

Last year, I spent most of my time on a steel frame with modern road geometry(in total 17tkm), and I’m impressed that the SL266 easily keeps up in terms of comfort! Up until now, I mostly used it on the trainer to dial in my position since it’s winter here in Germany. The only thing I’ll likely change is the cockpit length. I’m currently running the stock 100mm/80mm reach combo, but I think 120/80mm would be ideal. I’ll see how it goes after a few more miles.

I’ve also 3D-printed a few parts for the LTK cockpit if anyone is interested: adapters for FSA spacers and headsets, direct headset covers, and a 7/8/9-degree wedge for the Wahoo/Garmin mount. Without the wedge, the mount pointed upwards at an awkward angle; in my opinion, it needs to be flush with the stem to look right. Now it looks perfect! I’ll try to post some pictures later.

I’ll take some proper photos of the bike once the weather clears up. By the way, the current weight is 7.4 kg with a full Ultegra group, a standard wheelset (1450g, 45mm depth), 30/32mm GP5000 AS TR tires, and Favero power meter pedals. Next i will try my deeper wheelset with lighter tires and look whats changing

I'd be interested in the files for the LTK Bars! I sent you a PM but I think they're pretty easy to miss. Also which bearing did you end up installing low or high stack?

First ride done. Was coming from an entry level aluminium gravel frame with the same wheelset and I didn't think there would have been such a big difference.

Road vibrations are almost gone at same tire pressure, the reactivity of the frame is amazing. As soon as I press on the pedal the bike goes whereas on my previous bike there was a slight delay.

Building was quite straightforward. Just had to redo the routing 4 time because my dumbass was routing cable the wrong way. And it took me 4 times to get right 🥲. BB went in no issue, could thread all the way by hand, brake mount seems flat (at least no rubbing).

The only negative I'd find is that there is no rubber thingy shipped with the frame for where the cable enters/exit the frame. So water could get in from the rear di2 cable and also from the front derailler mechanical port.

Bike weight 7.28kg with computer mount, pedals, bottle cages and 32mm GP 5000 AS TR. So with summer tires (Pirelli p zero race tlr rs in 28) bike should be sub 7kg.

PS: please ignore my awful bar taping job. Hardest part of the build 😭

I am not a carbon expert, but personally that wouldn't worry me, particularly if those fibers are not loose just visible in terms of surface finish

I know you already have the bike set up (looks awesome btw...I wish the weather weren't so awful here so I could ride mine) but for everyone else:

I have mine set up with 160/160 just because that's what came in the SRAM full package, and it works great.
