Finished today! Waiting for rain to clear to take it for first spin.

Went 160 160 as well but had to buy an adapter.

If anyone has any questions happy to help.

Can you tell me about the headset on your build?  What c ring did you use with the bearings and headset ?

I used the FSA no55 ACR as helpfully recommended on this thread.

For the C-Ring I had to use the one that came with the Lightcarbon HBR17 bars that I bought as the FSA one didn't have the required notches

What are these things you have in place of bottle cage holders?

Those are fidlock magnetic bottle mounts.

I am very happy with my bike, but it has developed a creak when pedalling.

I rode it for a week with no problems in the UK where I live and then took it to Tenerife for 6 days of riding. First day it was okay but on the second when I stood on the pedals it started making a creaking/click sound with each pedal stroke. I’m running Shimano 105 Di2 with a ZTTO T47i bottom bracket which I installed with the supplied tool with no grease or retaining compound on the threads. Crank spindle is greased and preloaded, as well as the pedals. I checked the chainring bolts and left crank arm bolts and those are torqued up.
Later at the hotel I managed to recreate the noise by pushing either side of the bike near the BB area with my hands. The noise usually only occurs once the opposite side has been pushed I.e. pushing twice doesn’t make noise twice, only when the frame is pushed from the other side again.

I carefully inspected the frame for cracks around the BB, chainstays, down tube, reinstalled the handlebars and both bottle cages and the noise persists. The frame looks pristine on the outside. I am running a transparent black glossy finish.

I continued riding it through the holiday and took it up some very steep climbs (eg tierra del trigo with 25% ramps) and nothing bad happened and no noise happens when not pedalling. I am a light rider at 57kg and not much power output, but the noise sometimes also happens when pedalling at 150W.

I will try and reassemble the bottom bracket but if someone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Also, since I’m riding a small frame, the seat tube bottle cage bolts are too high, which makes it impossible to take a 750ml bottle. Are there any solutions to lower the bottle cage mounts?

I used one of these to be able to fit a larger bottle on a commencal meta sx, worked great.

Just search ali for "bottle mount adapter".

I mean that is almost certainly an issue with your BB rather than the frame itself? Hope it didn't ruin your enjoyment of the trip!

This sounds like a crank preload problem. Potentially caused by the BB not being installed tightly enough. As you ride the bike, the BB should tighten, this would cause the preload to decrease, allowing the spindle to move laterally. That squeak is potentially the sound of it moving under load.

You don't need to pull the crank to fix this, but I would to grease or preferably apply anti-seize to the BB. Installing them dry seems like a good way to encounter galling later on. Make sure to torque it down tight, too. I don't use a torque wrench on my BBs (I prefer the open-style wrenches to sockets), but the spec is usually 35-50 Nm. You should aim for the lower end if you are using grease or anti-seize.

Might be just a need of cleaning, lubing and mounting to correct torque of ThruAxles. In 80% of the time it is the problem, even if you think, it would be BB or hub,... And it is the easiest to check and fix

Check if the rear derailleur hanger is till tight. This has caused creaking on my bikes a couple of times...

Hey guys,

I’m about to order the frameset as well. My plan was to order the frameset and the recommended FSA headset.

Going through this thread was really helpful. Anyway, just have a few questions left where your help would be great:

- I saw that the thru axles are pretty heavy as posted on this thread. Any good lightweight other options out there that you could recommend?

- I would like to use one of these handlebars that are all over Ali (having them on my Hygge and pretty happy with them) (eg KOCEVLO X01 https://a.aliexpress.com/_EzQYMug) —> Does anyone know if they match the FSA Headset or if I need an adapter?

Thanks for your help!

Are there any seatpost options with setback available?

There were not at launch, but I would just email Alisa at LTK to find out/use their contact form.

Is anyone from Germany planning to order a frameset from LTK in the near future? I’m looking to get a second seatpost, but shipping alone is $30–40 for a $45 part. I've already been in touch with Alisa about it. The textured grip area on my current post is a bit too low for my saddle height.

I'd love to bundle a spare with someone else's order to save on shipping. Let me know if we can work something out!

Have you tried some cellophane/Saran wrap at the mating surfaces? Id also ask if it's safe to sand the post on the area you need grip on.
