LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires

Got my frame today everything looks good will post some photos once i get some more parts and build it up. I am going to be using a bar which uses and FSA integrated headset.

Just looking at buying the headset now and it seems there are two different looking ones where the cover seems to be different.

Should i go for the one which looks like it is two pieces or the one which is a single piece?

They are more or less functionally identical.

The second one, showing two pieces, is the newer "Low Stack" LS headset so it comes with a spacer to make up the extra stack and be the same as the original (first one). It also comes with an updated C-Ring. The bearing is a bit of a weird new size with a larger ID, so if you want to get a ceramic or solid-oil bearing, it might be harder to find. That said, the included stainless bearings are nice, and the ID means the bends are less tight. Being an FSA product, it's widely distributed, so getting spare bearings is easy.

I would get the second one.

I finished my build. I am really happy with the bike and can’t wait to take it for a proper spin. The weight is 6.9 kg with pedals, bottle cage holders, sensors, Garmin mount, etc.

I will probably slam the stem in a few months.

I am still looking for some lightweight budget thru-axles, so if anyone has a recommendation, let me know.

Has anybody ordered this in an XXL? Is that size available now? And if yes, how‘s the stiffness particularly in the rear triangle and the headtube area?

Headset arrived and also HBR17 handlebars this morning so had to see what they looked like together.

All i am waiting on is the groupset to arrive.

Cant wait until i get London Marathon done so i can ride it.

I've orderd an XXL mid december with estimated production in 2.5months, it's delayed (Claimed to be caused by CNY, and testing took longer than expected).
After a bit of nagging i got an update from LongTeng/Alisa where they estimated that it should be ready for shipping this week.

Planning on the super box v2 for context. Trying to find the bearings on their own.

You and me are going to be the test mules then. Alisa confirmed to me that they have a few XXLs in stock now and that they would be ready to ship. I'm ordering one to build up a lightweight climbing bike. I'm no good at climbing at over 80kg but it's still the kind of riding that I like the most.
I am slightly concerned whether or not this frame will be stiff enough. I guess we shall find out.

For the Superbox V2 you want a 40x52x8 45/45 for the upper bearing and 40x52x8 36/45 for the lower. OD can be 51.8 or 51.9 too.

The stem should come with a headset cover and a C ring. Use those and you should be set.

While most people here are looking for bigger frame, I am looking for XS or even XXS frame, are there any comparable lightweight frame?

I’m considering getting a lightweight road bike for Alpine marathon events. I’m currently torn between the Winspace SLC 3.0 and the LTK266-D-SL (my current favorite).
Are there any long-term experiences with the LTK266, especially with a rider weight of around 80–85 kg?
