With the frame I bought yesterday, the headset parts were included in the total price, though an expander wasn't part of the package. However, I also purchased the FSA No. 55 LS headset along with a Lightcarbon HBR17 handlebar and FSA adapter (€168)—though that part hasn't been delivered yet. I can report back on it later. The headset itself didn't cost me much (€30). Another question: does anyone happen to have a link (perhaps from Amazon) to a rubber plug or cover for the hole near the front derailleur—the one intended for the Di2 cable? I have rubber plugs at home, but they’re too big. I assume the tiny hole under the bottom bracket (facing the road surface) is supposed to stay open so water can drain out? Thanks for your help!

Could someone who hasn't assembled the frame yet, or who knows, tell me the size and length of the seatpost wedge bolt? I think mine might be too long, and it's causing the wedge to lift slightly.

Hi I’m using a 30mm bolt on mine as the one that came with it was also too long.

If anyone is looking for an alternative seatpost wedge cover, I have used one from a 2024 Giant defy and think it fits pretty well and has minimal overhang at the back.  You can pick them up for a couple of pound on aliexpress etc and just need to trim the piece the would normally sit in the bolt.

I really like the color and the bike.
Its a backup for my racebike at the moment, since I crashed my other bike.
Already done two races on the LTK266, and some easy rides. 
(One short 40km race with 43km/h average (photo from that), and a longer one 127km race at 39km/h average.)

Its a really nice bike. I find it to have really nice stiffness and comfort at the same time. The weight is of course really nice. It just works. It's not the most stable bike I've ridden, but a find these lightweight DFS 60mm wheels are a bit sensitive, so I'm sure it would be a bit more stable with heavier or lower profile wheels.
Also had a 5km long gravel section, quite fast (38km/h), and the bike handled it really good.

If anything, I really dont like the asthetics of the fat seatpost, and the saddle clamp is heavy and fiddly. Either a round 27.2mm post or a SL8 shaped post would be a big improvement.

On mine I also had to grind down the lower part of the seat post wedge and bolt, because the clamp would sit above the frame otherwise, and push up the cover. I used the Giant Defy one from aliexpress, and had to cut the cover a bit underneat as well to have it sit flush. This one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011570720633.html

I‘m using a 28mm M5 Titanium. 5nm was enough to hold the seatpost.

The Toseek bar appears to come with a split ring. The question is--is it the right one? There are no specs for it, so you need to ask.

If you bought bearings with the frame, see if they match. In particular, you care about the ID and the chamfer. The bearing should list its size as either something like MR127 (which you can look up) or 40x52x7 (InnerDiameterxOuterDiameterxHeight in mm) and then 36x45 (InnerAnglexOuterAngle in degrees)

Just as GravelMaxxer I wonder about the Headset compatibility. I am about to order the FSA N55 Headset (36° inner Camber) and wondered if it will fit the split ring of most generic cockpits from AliX or if they usually use 45° camber instead for their split rings. Is there a defacto standard?

How are the brake lines routed? The front brake line is self-explanatory: on the LTK fork, it exits at the front of the steerer tube and runs directly through the FSA headset and spacers into the Lightcarbon HRB17 handlebar, leading to the left brake lever. What about the rear brake line? In the attached image, the red circle represents the steerer tube viewed from above. Do you route the rear brake line like the green line (where the line runs upwards behind the steerer tube) or like the purple line (where the line loops around in front of the steerer tube)? In the latter case, the front and rear brake lines would cross each other—either at the level of the steerer tube or, at the latest, where they enter the cockpit. Hopefully, someone understands what I mean. 😄

Some people heat shrink the hoses together onto the fork. I don't. I just ran 'em so they don't cross.

The front brake line is connected to my left lever. It runs into the headset on the left side and goes straight down. The rear brake line, connected to the right lever, enters the headset on the right side. Slack is both in the HT (in 3d space, so this includes depth) and going back into the frame. The lines never cross.

So you go by the green line in the picture? Rear Brake on the right side of the handlebar and the fork? Don't the hoses cross while turning left?
I went by the purple leaving enough slack.

I guess its closer to the green line. but it goes out the front so it wraps a lot more around the steerer. Not sure if this really matters, but since the front line moves with the bars, they never cross.

It’s quite difficult to figure out. I think I will do the easy way, I’ll just get that FSA kit, get some stem spacers from Aliexpress, and get an adapter for €40, and a Toseek handlebar. Don’t have a clue what I’m doing, but let’s go.

Keep me updated please! I will just order the Kocevlo handlebar and hope the split ring that is coming with it, will fit the FSA headset.

Still waiting for the frame to ship.  :'( I'm also a little confused on the headset stuff. I've ordered the FSA 55R and will order a cockpit after my fit on Friday.

Have we found any different compatible seatposts?
