Hi Everyone!
Finally making my first post after reading every single post in this forum before I built my ltk266-d-sl bike. Thank you all for your contributions! Now, to the components on my bike:
Frame: ltk266-d-sl size Small naked UD black glossy finish
Group set: Ultegra di2 12 speed components, 52/36t chain rings and 165mm crank arms
Rotors: Dura ace 160mm front and back (160mm riderace rotor adapter in rear)
Cassettes: Ultegra 11t-30t (road) and 11t-34t (gravel)
Headset: FSA No. 55R 1.5” ACR LS (fit beautifully without issues - highly suggest getting the LS version)
Saddle: Ryet Ultimate 3D printed carbon
Wheels and tires: Princeton Carbonworks wake 6560 strada with 30mm GP 5000 S TR (road)
Tukus Evolution 50mm depth super light at 1100 grams with 36mm Tufo Thundero HD (gravel)
Pedals: Xpedo CXR red
Bottle cages: ZTTO ultralight aluminum alloy
Bottom bracket: Ryet Senicx ceramic bottom bracket
Di2 battery holder: largest shimano one at 21 to 29mm
Handlebars: LightCarbon HBR17 90mm x 400mm with 8mm rise fully integrated
Regarding the handlebars, LightCarbon has an option where you can purchase their handlebars with the FSA adapter and I’ve had zero issues with fitting or anything. I used the HBR17 spacers that came with the handlebars.
With the gravel wheel set, the complete bike with pedals weighs about 7.2 kg and with the road wheelset, complete bike with pedals weighs 7.5 kg. Running both tire sets tubeless I am still using the provided thru-axles and have not shopped around for a different pair. However, I did change out the seat post bolt for a M5 x 30mm bolt. This is a much better option that the proprietary one provided.
Alisa was very helpful during the ordering process. Took just over a month for the frame set to be delivered.
Overall, I’m very happy with the bike and love how it flies on compact gravel. With the 11-34t cassette, there is a rhythm disruption with my cadence between the middle gears which should be resolved when I replace the 11-34t with a 11-30t cassette. Gravel tires are 37.5 WAM, and I can fit a 4mm hex key between the tire and frame in the rear. There is about 1mm of space between the knobby tire and the FD wire.
My plan is to have a more relaxed, endurance setup (hence the 40mm of spacers) and I still feel great after riding 2.5 + hours in the saddle. Nonetheless, this will be my primary compact gravel bike. I love how lightweight the bike is and it is much faster uphill than my specialized roubaix sl8. I am still waiting on my XMCS VRT frame to arrive and that’ll be my road bike. FWIW, the XMCS VRT has practically identical geometry with the ltk266-d-sl size small. I’m 5’7” with an inseam of 31.5” and arm length of 19” and this is the best fit I’ve had for a bike yet.
