I gotta say folks, and I take no pleasure in saying it-- I don't think getting that LTK cockpit is at all worth it. Now that we see the weights (and perhaps more issues with headset?) we may want to even more forcefully advise on going aftermarket (e.g. XMCS, Tavelo, Canary, EXS, AliEx, whatever). 20g for a 10mm spacer? The LTK cockpit at 100x400 is around 100g heavier than my 130x380 Tavelo cockpit...it seems like you start to lose the benefits of the superlightweight frame.

Is the top headset cover round measuring 56/57mm in diameter ?

yes the bottom part is round 58mm

I have no experience with the current latest Avian stuff, but based on what I have seen, it's hard to recommend that one either. I think the XMCS, Tavelo, Quick Pro, EXS, and Speeder barstems are the way to go if a one-piece is a must for you. Speaking Quick Pro, their spacers seem the closest to this design, but I don't know if I would spend more money trying to make the LTK one work, as it would be a gamble. I would go with the XMCS or Speeder bar stems because they are compatible with the FSA spacer stack, which should help with compatibility and parts sourcing.

Yeah, I had read all the posts about the issues with this cockpit, but I still wanted to take the risk and give it a try. I was already aware that there might be some problems, but for 90 dollars I just wanted to test it myself!
I’ve already reached out to Alisa to see if she has any solution for me.
I also got three FSA stems (100–120 mm) to figure out which cockpit setup actually fits me best before spending 200–400 dollars on one.
Maybe I can even test the cockpit with the FSA headset.
But honestly, those aluminum spacers are surprisingly bad — really disappointing quality!

Guys, what do you think about TFSA JH-35 versus LTK266-D-SL? Exactly the same geometry, price $1030 (turns out to be ~$100 more expensive?) with a good handlebar and the rest, free shipping (Ali), seems no problems with the headset. Now I'm stuck between these two.

Besides these issues with the spacers, honestly, this also looks awful. Just why? I'm really sorry, but the more I look at it, the more I think I won't be able to sleep peacefully with something like this on my bike How could such an unsuitable, ugly part even come into existence? And it's not about the price at all, frames that are twice as cheap come with good-looking covers and spacers, and even under Permeants and Tideace brands, with a price $350 higher, a frame comes with the same unsuitable seat clamp cover.

I recieved the same hardware with this handlebar for my LTK268 .

But cannot asseble the spacers; I can stack them on the bottom cap but the pins dont match the holes in the handlebar!
If i try to fit the handlebar on the bottom cap (slamed stem) it fits. But the spacers seem to be off.

Is yours better?

I did order the FSA headset because the the one that came with the frame looks bad.

Do spacers really need to hold onto the handlebar with pins? I could grind them off so they could fit under the handlebar.

I have the 268 frame so im not concerned with weight, and i would really like to make this handlebar work i dont see anything wrong with it.

can someone help with alternative spacer ideas? orderd a fsa55 but dont know if the ltk cockpit work with fsa spacers... the spacer quality from the ltk cockpit is so ridiculous bad! not usable! lets see whats alisa is saying....

For the handlebar top cap , what we order from the supplier are always in glossy finish version , not in matte , thanks for your understanding !
    For the handlebar spacers , it seems that there's too much space according to your pictures , generally speaking , although the aluminum ones are not like the plastic ones just have few gap , there's space more or less , but it's impossible to be misaligned so much . Please check if the 2 protrusions on each pair of the spacers are inserted to the holes of the next pair correctly , please try and adjust them . And for the headset , what we provide is the FSA specification and matched with the frame well now , the problem happened long ago , and now it's all solved . ....

The are a couple of differences to think about.

Front end geometry wise: the JH35 is more SL8 while the 266DSL is more TCR.

From a fit perspective the 266DSL has zero offset post while the JH35 looks like it has a setback post as the only option.

Edit: also the 266DSL has a lot more tire clearance at 35mm vs. 30mm.

I was hoping to have the TPU prints in for my replacement of this part in by now, but it looks like with the holiday in the US it will be delivered on Weds. I will share photos ASAP and the CAD file is on this thread a few pages back.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking about. The JH-35 handlebar weighs 320g (quite light, right?), no issues with the headset, no issues with the spacers, no issues with the seatpost clamp cover. It's not just about the price difference, but also, to be honest, this isn't the most interesting part of the build — searching for the better spacers and seatpost clamp covers bacause stock one is too bad. If these problems didn't exist, there would certainly be no doubt that the LTK266-D-SL looks like an excellent option then.

I really don't want to buy anything with proprietary hanger anymore, so I find that is worth a lot for me...
