Looking for a small gravel/bikepacking frame for my girlfriend

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to build up a gravel/bikepacking bike for my girlfriend. She's 162 cm tall with an inseam of 75.5 cm. I already have some spare components from previous builds and would like to give a Chinese carbon frame a try this time.

Right now, I'm considering the Spcycle G058 Carbon in size XS. Does anyone have experience with this frame, or know of other good alternatives in a similar price range?

One important thing: the standover height should be as low as possible, as she feels much safer that way. We have a Focus Atlas in size S here – it feels a bit too tall for her, so I think XS would be a much better fit, although we haven’t tested it properly yet.

I'm mainly interested in geometry recommendations that would suit her size for gravel and light bikepacking.

I’ve also been eyeing the BXT-135 – looks fun, but probably a bit too aggressive for her. Maybe something I’ll build up for myself later 😄

Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful – thanks in advance!

Best thing to do is use a bike frame that you know fits your girlfriend and then compare the frame/s you want to buy on:

If they don't have the frame on that site, you can always compare geometry measurement numbers. Some of these gravel frames differ from road frame geometry, so it's also a good idea to contact the vendor to get an idea on sizing.

That’s usually what I do too 😉 Just curious if anyone has built a small gravel bike—especially with the Spcycle G058—and has any frame recommendations or lessons learned to share.

edit: I also came across the Velobuild GF-003, which looks really interesting. Still not sure whether XS or S would be the right size though 😅

edit2: Oh shit I just saw that the Spcycle G056 is the same.. sorry I guess I should have looked a bit more. But it is kind of confusing. I guess we could delete this thread and I will just study the Spcycle G056 thread..
