Quick questions if you don’t mind:
1. What handlebar/cockpit are you running right now?
2. Where do you think your biggest weight savings will come from (cassette/chainch/saddle, etc.)?

LightCarbon HBR17 handlebar.

Weight savings will be a mix of things. Biggest single one wheel set (~400g but keep depth/width/aero). Then there's ~200g in crank set, ~170g in the pedals, ~100-150g in cassette if I can get a ZTTO or Goldix to work. Then smaller stuff like fork steerer expander, skipping Di2 battery holder, skipping seat post grommet.

Hello I've built up my bike! I'm running SRAM Rival AXS with a 52/39 and 10-36t combo. 60mm wheels from Serenade with Pillar 1420 steel spokes (1365g). For cockpit I went with 28cm Bikedoc bars and a Kalloy Uno stem for ez adjustability in the future. My frame has the chainstay clearance issue which is super annoying... The shifting is really quite bad in the higher gears since I can't adjust the B-gap close enough. The hanger also seems to be a little bent, so i will provide an update once I get the hanger aligned.

First impressions are pretty good! This is my first carbon frame coming from a round-tube Ti bike. I actually noticed that it was more comfortable over rail road tracks and potholes even though I am using narrower 29/30mm tires than the 32mm on my Ti bike. Stiffness -- I can't really judge, I am 58kg and my sprint is shite so it's definitely stiff enough for me. The front-end handles quite nicely on my 49cm size.
Aero wise, it's a bit too cold and windy currently to test it, but it's not dramatically faster than my Ti bike which is similar in position. I'll see how it feels when I race it during the season.

Building it up was not super easy. The rear caliper mount had paint sprayed over it, so I had to file it down a bit; the caliper is still visibly crooked but not rubbing -- I need to face it down in the shop. Front brake mount was fine. Upper headset cup was a bit tight for the bearing but it went in fine. There's quite a lot of plastic in my headset stack so I've had to adjust the preload a bit so far due to the parts creeping. Also, the bottle cage mounts are too close together. The bottles interfere! I need to move the downcage up a little bit. All fixable things except the DAMN CHAINSTAYS! Going to reach out to VeloBuild and see what they say about it.

Tl;dr: sexy bike, but beware if you're running SRAM...

I assume you're still quite happy with how it rides?

Does anyone else have feedback on size 460 or 490?

My GF says the size 460 is quite a bit different to her old size 48 Cervélo S5 rim brake, but really hard to say how much might be the geometry itself and how much is all the other stuff that's different (stem from 90mm to 130mm, handlebar width from 30cm to 36cm (thanks, UCI), tyres from 27mm to 35mm measured).

Re: the Atom 6. Curious to know how much people think it should cost.

Going off either a 105di2 or rival axs build with 50mm wheels, it looks like it would be ~5100euros.

If you were to source it yourself, your parts cost would be like 3200-3500 euros + shipping? So if you got unlucky, it could be as high as 4000 euros without even getting to labor for assembly. I don't know how many of these bikes are assembled, but curious to hear how much folks think a company like Atom 6 should charge for their effort. The pricing certainly feels high to me unless that includes VAT, which I dont think it does.

Any thoughts about the cockpits? Clip-on aero bars? Riser kit? Not sure what would be most effective and practical.

The most comfortable will be the fastest Holding position for ten minutes is easy ish but a long stint will be horrible in the wrong set up.
No doubt you've got a regular stem and heavy alloy bars kicking about so pop them on and keep an eye out for some nice second hand adjustable Profile bars you can try. You'll probably be surprised how high you need the supports/cups.

Got the bike finished. I'll upgrade stuff during the next months to get it down in weight and maybe add a bit of bling, so it's ready for any possible spring races. If I go for complete upgrade package I should be able to shave a bit more than 1 kg and get close to 7.0 kg.

For the RD I'm thinking of trying some asymmetric pulley wheels to get them closer to the cassette and see if I can get ZTTO (or maybe Goldix) cassette to work - maybe the people having issues running SRAM could try that as well.

Current wheel set is Nextie 45mm with 29mm internal width and 40mm max width. Continental GP TR 32mm measures 35mm and tyre and the rim clears with about 2-3mm clearance at the chain stay so probably around the widest one can fit without big risk of either rim or tyre hitting the frame at the chain stays.

The seller told me it uses a custom, higher-grade carbon layup compared to the standard Velobuild version, although I have to say I remain a bit skeptical about that claim.

The weight of the complete framekit, exactly as shown in the photos, is about 3100 grams (L/550 size, dog not included  .
By mid-week I should be able to share photos of the fully built bike and the final weight, once it’s assembled with Ultegra, etc.

Yeah, I guess that was to be expected, having a lighter version with a higher grade carbon layup would have been almost too good to be true, sly Italian company stuff...

Think the bars/stem were 370g but I didn't use them so don't really remember
Let's say 200g for udh hanger, a couple of headset bearings and spacers.
Total 3019g I think, give or take.
   
Didn't weight seat post clamp but the axles should make up for the discrepancy
