I would really like to see how the Aerotrace compares to other aero bikes. I know that it is probably just a aero bike gimmick but who knows.

It would be nice to know how people are finding their builds compared to their previous bikes, maybe on Strava routes or segments.
So far we haven't really tried ours in anger yet. Combination of bad weather and missing components. - brother ordered some XMCS 65mm wheels but EVRI lost them, sigh. Worst delivery company ever. Probably.
I've just today got them both up and running today with our spare winter wheels so we may manage some runs next week weather permitting. At this time of year we're not terribly adventurous, the routes are fairly regular and so may get some idea of any speed/effort difference over our current fairly conservative round tubed bikes.

It's a shame Patrick doesn't do a timed test route like David Arthur does with his review bikes....

If anyone has any tips besides the ones given in this thread about seatpost slipping, I'd love to hear them. I've tried everything while waiting for replacement parts but the seatpost keeps slipping even with 9nm.

Jesse from the Nero Show said the new Factor One was only like 6 seconds faster than his Tavelo Arow over 90 minutes on the same loop and similar weather conditions. At an absurd 350 watts. That pretty much sums up why I don't do speed tests.

I think that time test routes can be used making sure that weather variables stay within a narrow window (so do it same morning) to have a general idea if a bike is relatively fast or slow compared to another one. To have more accurate results you would need an aero sensor.

New Factor One forks are 730g and medium frame 1180.

i wish more chinese OEMs/brands would go into bayonet forks, i've seen a li-ning frame sililar to the new S5 but it's a china-only product unfortunately

Has anyone ordered in the last month? I paid on 12/11, but I still haven’t had any news. I checked in on 02/12 and Chris said the painting would be done the following weekend. Then I followed up again on 10/12 and was told they were hoping to finish it the next weekend as well.

Just wanted to see if this delay is only with my frame or if anyone else is in the same situation.

haven't placed an order yet, but i plan to in the next days, it will be a single custom color so i can update you with the timeline

First of all: Tout le monde ne parle pas français, alors évitez le stéréotype du « Français » et répondez en anglais.

Second of all: The geometry of the Dragon is very clearly a racing bike geometry following slight trends to have a higher stack to reach ratio. The wheel base is super short, as are the chain stays. You should really study up on current race bike geometries, how angles affect positions and hip angles and what constitutes a good/correct geometry. In this case the dragon is surprisingly good.

Third: If you want to try and complain about geometry, go look at the Ridley Noah Fast and see what your old-school mentality thinks of it. Even though it is extremely complex on paper to understand why the geometry is correct while looking so so so different from the "norm", once you sit on the bike and have it set up, you would understand.
