if they promise 120 with the 190x45 shock absorber I would expect them to actually do it

Ordered the raceface turbine SL 100mm dropper, rockshox raceday 2 3 position damper for the SL ultimate fork to match with the shock I got
The shock is a 50mm so should be getting 100-110mm travel vs the stated 120mm achieved with 55mm travel shock.

Yes, it's true, they recommend 210x55. I confused that in the previous post. You'll have to test it yourself and you'll find out.

Yes, sounds like it. This is my first FS, I am looking forward to the built. Trying to get them to send me along with the frame and extra set of bearings for the pivot points.
One thing I am struggling with right now is the shock bushing: 1 is M8x30 and pretty coming, the other one is M8x16.8mm which seems odd and hats to find. Considering the original design is canyon, I am surprised it’s not proper metric size at 16 or 17mm

Ok, just received the frame and it look fantastic in person. The clear coat with green hue or pure clear shows the UD carbon perfect, the Matt gold rear triangle looks great too! I wasn’t ready for it to show already so I am missing a few parts that I need to source, including rear shock spacers

It may well be. Personally I have some concerns around that. The bottle cage will be mounted to it, I am not sure the locking mechanism will be strong enough to hold that load and take the repeated beating without developing play eventually…

Finally gave in and ordered custom bushings from offset bushing for the rear shock at the eye wateeing price of $70

Did I miss something? Did you have to have bushings made with an eccentric center hole? Why?

Yes, same for headset. It would have been a lot smarter to engineer out the stuff that is non value adding and stick with standard. Wasn’t even that hard, 16.5mm is widely available, just leave 0.15mm on both face of the yoke when doing the machining…
