hey

shopping for a cockpit for my orbea orca, but never messed with chinese carbon before.

couple quick questions:
 is there any real difference in quality (stiffness, finish, tolerances) between the ~$120 lexon and the ~$220 the one ultra / avian?
 i actually prefer the look + finish of the lexon vero, but it seems like there’s no headset cover specifically shaped for the orca’s oval headtube, while the one/avian apparently come with an orca‑specific cover.

any advice or experience appreciated!

Avian is definitely lighter than most of the competition and it's nice they send you the right spacers. Sometimes the cheap ones are messy on the inside and it's harder to route cables/hoses. I've used Avian Falcon bars and the ones from Airwolf. Avian was definitely nicer; 50g lighter, easier to route). That being said, if you don't need anything amazing, the cheaper ones are probably fine, maybe a little heavier and flexy. It's possible I would have stronger feelings about it if I was heavier and stronger though. My power peaks around 1000w but usually I'm riding below 200w.
