KMC Flattop wax chain

Hi, I bought a new KMC chain, I have Sram Red XPLR, Garbaruk 10-44 cassette and Gemini 46t, so 1x12 setup. I noticed some noise, and I wonder if that is caused by KMC chain, or the setup, or other issues. Please note that previously I used the Garbaruk 10-44 and garbaruk 46 oval chainring, all worked perfectly. Anyone used that chain for the sram setup?

Whilst my reply is not specific to your setup, I use Shimano, I have found the Go-Waxed chains from KMC to be noisier than the stock Shimano chains.
I spoke to a club mate of mine who is a very good bike mechanic and he said it's his experience that KMC chains are noisier to start, but break in and gradually quieten down.
I'd say this is correct as I'm around 300-500km on the chains now across two bikes I put them on recently, and it is quieter than when first installed.

Personally I just put the OEM waxed chains in my Molten Speed Wax crock pot before first use-their killer app is saving the initial degreasing process and solvent disposal.

I have fond the same. The chain shifts on par with Shimano chain, but for sure it is noisier.
