BTW finished 8th (80 starters) at a recent race on the FM316. Yes, it's still fast. I missed the early break.

Flip Chip is now more up and down direccion. What is real a-c and stack?

Edit: And that looks like a mtb fork. I prefer fm316 fork and geometry.

I'm just waiting for spring and test ride. Saddle setback is 25mm and stack/reach is still like a roadbike.

Teflon tape and grease work really well with the T47 bottom bracket. Removes unnecessary play from the thread.

Which play?
Honestly, I was surprised by the quality of the T47 threads.
BB went in by hand without any issues and I just needed the torque wrench to tighten it.
(actually I am on my 2nd T47BB in that bike right now, since my SRAM DUB, which I just switched from my old bike, just gave up. And that after less than 12 months. So, no more SRAM DUBs for me, here my money goes to quality equipment)

I bought a wolf's BB. I don't know a better sealed bottom bracket for the t47 standard.
I've also destroyed three Sram dub bottom brackets on my mountain bike within a year.

The frame thread was slightly on the upper limit and the wolf's slightly on the lower limit.
I don't blame either one. This is a t47 problem. The thread only has a pitch of one millimeter and the diameter is quite large.

But anyway, there was clearly too much clearance. Wolf advised using Teflon tape and it really works.
Teflon tape also seals the thread.

Hey all mondince owners, I want to test out the shorter fork (I only have the 420mm). Did anyone try it an not like it and is willing to sell it to an aspiring junior racer (yeah I cannot afford too much)

I reached out to mondince and got quoted 150 USD. If anyone has something that they could let go for cheaper that would be great. I also have a 100USD giftcard for a bikeshop in Michigan that I won at ICEMAN and cannot use from here in Canada so I could ship that over plus etransfer if anyone has the shorter fork

I applied the Vinyl decals and then applied the 3m film to the frame

It seems that factory added two threadless carbon seatpost adapters instead of one threaded and one threadless, so there's no way to secure the seat that I have now Anyone had this problem?

435$ frame, 150$ for the paint job, 150$ shipping (europe), 30$ paypal fee = 765$

Size L, 7.9 kg without saddle and pedals (~600 g), so should be around 8.5 kg final build

After a lot of research I am considering a Mondince frame. What the max chainring size for the 326 in 1x?

I really like the relaxed geo of the FM286 but it’s max is 42t.
