Thanks! I was basically looking for the fastest rolling 50mm tire since I don't do a lot of "technical" gravel riding. Schwalbe doesn't make the 50mm G-One R Pro in black, and these were cheap/available which is how I ended up with them. Thankfully they're not too expensive if they don't end up working out.

I've just finished building the bike, but haven't been able to test it yet (it's been raining non-stop for the last week).

I have some comments about the chainstay design, which I feel awkward and with room for improvement

don’t you have issues with hitting your heels? see image, I have added some protection pads

With my crankset having 48mm chainline and 152mm Q-Factor:
- the 40t chainring has lots of room to chainstay
- the 50mm tire is very tight to chainstay <4mm
- the crank is very close at pedals end to chainstays

with a regular road crankset (not wide) the problem should be worse

Nothing out of the ordinary on mine. Size XL, 170mm non wide road crank and size 47 shoe.
I rub the chainstays a bit on all of my bikes so I always add some tape there.

Tire clearance is on part with what is advertised in my opinion. My tires measure 52 and there's still some room to go a little wider. I'd say 2.1 29 tire should fit

Sorry, no head-on shots at the moment but here's an anecdotal account re: it's aero qualities... taken with a pinch of salt for it's lack of scientific rigor.

Z Race Unchained 170mm and 40t

I have just ordered one of these frames, gonna try to find the time to build it up before springtime comes.

Been looking at that Zrace Unchained crankset, how do you like it? Does anyone know how it compares to the similar style LEESE cranksets?

Looking at fitting mine with a standard GRX setup, but not settled just yet.

Got pictures today, unfortunately there was a mix up and the frame was purple.
They will be painting me another frame and set of forks. That said if you want a purple sparkly size small hit up mondince.

First real ride yesterday on a 3h winter ride

I found to be very fast and silent, like riding on a magic carpet. I was very happy However feeling is not reactive, and frame has lateral flex specially on the front end. But so far I did not notice this negatively when cornering, could be positive? (like motogp bikes)
So no good for sprints but very good for maintaining high speeds with low effort.
Big part of this I assume is because of the wheels, I have the new Schwalbe G one pros in 50mm mounted on 30mm inner width rims and 45mm profile

Definitively not 50mm clearance on the rear, and you can suffer with mud. The wheel will roll, but the mud will build on the chainstay and will come to the chainring and transmission.

Finally after washing the bike I found water on the storage box, I think I will make a drill and possibly removing one of the walls to make box bigger

Edit: I’m 183cm tall and seat height is 79cm, and frame size L with 80mm stem is perfect

Appreciate the feedback! Do you have a caliper to measure actual tire width?  Mine measure 50mm (47mm spec) and appear to have plenty of clearance. That said... I haven't run it in mud yet.

Not sure about your area but here gravel races *RARELY* come down to a sprint...and if they did, everyone's legs are blown and it's basically total power, fatigue resistance, and timing that determines outcome, not frame stiffness. A softer ride means less fatigue, which helps you stay fresh especially in the finale. I didn't realize how jarringly stiff my previous frame was until until I rode the FM316.

420mm fork? I think 395 vs 420 makes a big difference.

I'm 178cm tall and seat height is 77cm. I take M size and ordered 38/120 Spcycle HB-068 handlebar.
10cm seat-handlebar drop is what i aiming.

I'm also 178cm and running a medium but with a 80mm stem and 420mm bars. With the 420mm fork the steering is already slow so I'd not expect another 40mm of stem to help.
