IGPSport LW10 Watch
« on: August 21, 2025, 02:41:32 PM »
Been a long time user of Garmin for both bike computers and watches. Noticed recently that the battery in my Vivoactive 3 watch is draining at 25% every hour or so now. So just about useless to have to charge before the day is done.

New Vivoactive 6 is $300 direct from Garmin. A refurb Vivoactive 5 is almost $200 on Amazon. And the IGPSport LW10 is $100 on AliEx (maybe less if stacking coins and coupons).

So my question is if anyone on here have and use this watch? If you had a Garmin before, were there an issues? Battery life? Longevity issues? Is their website/app easy to use?

I mostly use the watch for running, hikes and for tracking RHR. And the phone notifications. Since I have an Edge bike computer, being in the Garmin ecosystem is handy, but I don't think it's necessary. I mean once activities are recorded they go to Strava and Intervals.icu for analysis. So as long as that can happen it should be good.

If your watch started draining so much battery suddenly, i'd think it is due to a recent update to it or its companion app, or any other third party connections. There is likely a permissions/communications problem somewhere. I had it with a different watch, and found more people online reporting it was due to a specific update that could be rolled back. Or you could try removing permissions of the watch/companion app with apps like google fit/health connect and strava and such to see if the problem is there.

Agree, i use the vivoactive 2 and have no issues at all. It ususally works for a week or slightly longer, unless I use it for many commutes.

Ordered one today for < 60,00 €, with coins and code, to germany. Even if its crap, it will not really hurt for this price  ;D I´m pretty happy with my IGPS 630 S, so I´m hoping i will be happy with the lw10 too.

Extremely happy with my Binavi computer. IGPsport is capable of great things. I would love to upgrade my coros but the LW10 reviews are pretty bad... I wouldn't gamble on it. Waiting for a new release

I'll check this out. It did seem sudden, like since the weekend.

Thanks. Mine seemed similar. Though most days I would just stick it on the charger when I take it off to shower. But it would last on it's own for about 4 days to a week prior.

Thanks! I've heard good things about some of IGPSport's other products and was hoping this would be the same. Appreciate your thoughts.

One thing that I didn't notice that could affect my decision besides others feedback is the lack of ANT+ pairing. Not so much for bike sensors, but for chest strap HR when running.

Are there other watches that pair with a chest strap HR besides Garmin?

Anyone have any thoughts to share on this or related watches?

Just get a Garmin (or consider an Apple Watch if you're an iPhone user).

I'm currently dealing with iGPSport's half-arsed implementation of ANT+ on the BiNavi and it's disappointing when I'm coming from a Garmin.

Considering a Coros Pace 3. Planning to do a triathlon event next year and also just don't want to have to carry my phone on runs anymore. I don't necessarily need cycling connectivity for my purposes (won't be using it for cycling on weekly rides) but I think the Coros should work and connect to my Magene power meter via bluetooth once I clip in for the bike portion. For some of the sport watches you have to start a new activity at each transition, but the Coros is supposed to handle triathlons natively.

The somewhat-weak point of the Coros is music. And also wasn't sure if I should spend more for the mapping of the Coros Pace Pro vs the simplified breadcrumb version of the cheaper Pace 3.

Not related to this specific watch, but looking to replace my Garmin Venu (well, just wanting a new toy actually), I ended up with the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro.
It doesn't have ANT+ but it has HR broadcasting via BLE, and I was able to successfully pair it both with my iGpsport BCS300 computer bike and the gym treadmills (Technogym).

I'm not sure how many watches do this, it's never stated in spec sheets and reviews but it was something I was really interested in having - I don't feel "pro" enough to justify wearing a chest or arm HR band.
