I want to build my new Lightcarbon LCG074 with a SRAM XPLR E1 13x group. Sadly the smallest crankset from SRAM (Force) comes with 36t. After a bit of calculation and checking with my other bikes, I think this is to much for me and the hills in my area. Some cranks that would accept 32t would be much nicer. Do you have any recommendations? - Carbon - 32 t - chainline 47.5mm - BB with 85.5 mm
Could you explain why do you think this is a problem? My understanding is, that I could shorten the chain just a few links (2 or 4). MTB groupset (SRAM Eagle Transmission) in a mullet setup is certainly one idea. But here the problem seems to be, it is designed for a boost rear axle.
