Maybe this is just me being paranoid.
I was flexing my handlebars after installing them just to test them out, and when I put force sometimes I will hear the faintest pop, which then doesn’t come back, even with more force.
So far I’ve only put a fair bit of body weight on it so in theory it shouldn’t be close to the failure point.
Do the grit particles crack or become “seated” with stress? This would explain why the noise doesn’t come back, or am I snapping singular strands of carbon (which I don’t think is possible)
