Geoid PM500 power meter

Hi, I’ve been lurking for bargains on power meteres for a while, mostly magene pes515. Today I noticed that geoid relased something, I presume, new - geoid PM500 power meter. It’s available only on AliExpress for around 230$, there is very little information about it available, no reviews yet. Accuracy is lower than pes515, but still acceptable and good if we take price under consideration- +-1.5%. Can’t wait for some actual reviews, it’s especially interesting since geoid already done good and cheap copy/rebranding of cycling computer cc600 (copy of magene c506).

Geoid and magene are linked I think, no? Could be rebranded pes505?

It's definitely different to the PES505 in some respects - charging port on the opposite side (but looks the same), and more importantly, looks to be using the standard Easton mount rather than the proprietary Magene one.

Edit: actually probably still the proprietary Magene mount. Maybe these are custom cranks from Senicx. FCC filings have identical photos for this and the P515 in back-side images, and the manual is the same as the Magene one.

I ordered this the other day and managed to grab the early bird deal for $180.
From what I can tell, it looks like a Magene spider paired with Senicx PR3 cranks

Magene spider with Senicx crank? One could argue that's an upgrade given it removes the single bolt clamping mechanism from the pes505/515 crankset, albeit likely a little heavier.

Only real photos I found are from device report. It looks very similar to magene pes515, even internal PCB is the same. Also manual is magene’s.

Having said that, these can be had from the coins page for US$180 + 10% tax (for me). That is without applying any coupons which come online today or wait until 11.11.

I bought one today’s morning from geoid store when it was for around 220$. Now price increased and it’s not much cheaper than pes515 so for now it has no advantages over magene’s. Hope it’s going to be delivered not canceled. I am also wondering if it’s going to be Chinese version with no app connection but since I bought it from official store I hope there is chance of unlocking it like pes505.

I asked Geoid this before buying and got this answer:

Geoid released quick start guide (attached). Nothing interesting though, standard senicx’s assembly procedure.
