Bigrock Team Edition frame experiences
« on: November 02, 2025, 04:16:46 AM »
Dear Community,

I'm thinking of buying a Bigrock Team Edition frame.
The frame seems quite light, 603 gramms in XXS.
I haven't found much information about it in the forum so far.
Can you tell me anything about the quality, real world weight and builds ?
Thanks for your help.

yeah unfortunately I haven't seen much in the way of real world builds for that frame. For me, personally, the value just isn't there. Despite being a bit of a weight weenie, I'd rather spend half as much for a frame that weights 200g more. My goals for a frame are that it has geometry that I like and it isn't a truck. All I know about that frame is what Joe says about it on his China Cycling youtube channel

I'm sure he's biased because he sells them on his website but I also bet the bike works fine if you really just want a lightweight build.

Yes, that video is the only thing I've found.
It seems a bit strange to me that there isn't more information about it online, and I'm wondering whether I should actually buy it.
At least on paper, it's a really lightweight frame.

I think the Bigrock frame kind of launched into a tough place in the market. The Team edition was initially priced similarly to the Winspace SLC3, which launched just a little later, or Quick Pro bikes without the backing that those bigger, better-known brands have, without the baggage of that silly brand name. Aside from the weight, the specs and geometry were also very cookie-cutter for the Aethos-like segment, in which much cheaper bikes already existed (like the Ican FL1).

When I finally bought a new frame, I went with the LTK266D SL. Yes it is slightly heavier, but it also has more tire clearance, supports UDH, and was like 1/2 the price.
