Light 2 bolt computer mount
« on: November 03, 2025, 03:18:48 AM »
Can anyone recommend a light 2 bolt computer mount for Avian Falcon 2 handlebar? 15g or less ideally. It doesn't have to be the strongest as I only mount my Wahoo Bolt 2 to it.

There are many options on Aliexpress but I know the product descriptions aren't always correct.

I’m satisfied with West Biking alu mount. Tried OgEvkin 2 bolt carbon mount, but with a bike computer and front light it cracked after 500 kilometers of gravel riding.

This mount is a solid choice for gravel riding. I’ve already ridden 10k kilometers of gravel with that mount.

I have this mount and it's great. Around 24 g without Gopro mount.
Pay attention if you use Wahoo mount - it is not very firm and could rattle with computer on it, same for the rest blue Wahoo mounts .The diameter for the bolts is unconventional, so I recommend you buy these oval tabs https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009241540714.html

How are the bars? I like the shape and weight. Are they stiff enough?

The bars should arrive tomorrow finally it has taken almost 3 weeks. I hope they're good I know their quality has been a bit hit and miss in the past.

I ordered a bunch of mounts and this was the lightest. I replaced the gopro mount with washers and the whole thing is 16g.

I installed the Falcon 2 bar today. They are a bit more flexy in the drops than my previous Canyon CP30. But they are stiff enough for me (76kg) I'm not really a sprinter. But they are 36cm wide which probably helps a bit with stiffness. Quality looks good. Saved almost 100g with the swap.
