I saw on IG kind of "spoiler" propably of that frame with black Shwalbe Addix Thunder Burt 29x2.25". Geometry looks like SP-G026, but updated fork and headtube that looks more areo.

In the Mondince frame thread, someone posted that they're working on a new fork. 420mm A-C, 50/55mm flip chip, and clears up to 700x57mm/29x2.25''. So that's probably it. Rear will likely stay at 50mm max though

Btw, can you drop the link to that IG?

Raccon cycles is Polish brand from Rzeszow city, Poland. They order frames from China partners.  I know owner from university times, he propably doesn't remember me 😃 (Greetings to you P... if you read this!)

As mentioned by others on this forum, I think we’re still at a point where the only practical way to run >2.2" tires on a gravel bike is by using an MTB frameset with a rigid fork.

Here’s my current build: a BXT MTB-066 frame paired with a Ryet fork. Since I do beach racing, my main requirement was to fit 60mm G-One Speed tires. I upgraded from an Airwolf YFM026 (size XL) to this frame in size L for a shorter reach (as reach and stack become more aggressive with a rigid fork if its shorter than a typical MTB suspension fork), more progressive geometry, T47 BB, and the ability to fully internally route the cables.

I’m very happy with how the build turned out—it’s a true do-it-all gravel bike with huge tire clearance. For summer, I swap to a set of 2.35" Thunder Burt tires. The only real downside, as with many MTB frames, is the limited chainring size: with Boost spacing, the largest I can fit is a 40T (the Airwolf was exceptional in that sense with a dropped chainstay and could fit 46T).

Yes, only 55/50mm. The small, white font blended in with the background photo. Sorry for the confusion.

As for Tavelo—that frame looks just like the new Wilier Rave. That one is rated for 52mm, but you can easily fit 2.2" tires in there.

New Raccoon frame looks like Winspace G3

Did they give any timeline?

Talked to TanTan/Seraph today and they're sticking to 50mm max. No new frames with more clearance on the way

They answered "There is no exact time yet" :(

It looks cool in size L! What is the weight of your bike?
