Fake Shimano PD-R8000 SPD-SL Road Bicycle Bike Pedals
« on: November 29, 2025, 07:27:49 AM »
Decided to gamble a got these pedals from Ali. I received the best executed copy I've ever seen. Weight difference 2%. Very hard to spot the differences. Spins similarly well. Internal execution is almost the same, but different material seems to be used for the main spinning part, where the pedal body sits.

I have opened a dispute with the seller. Let's see what happens.

Aliexpress denied my dispute in the first stage...  WTF. What more do they want?

How do you know if they fake or not? I have two sets of XT SPD pedals bought from different years from Amazon in the US and they look slightly different. the actual usage feel is identical though.
