I was really hoping this was UDH, the CAAD-like frame just isn’t the right size for me in the smallest size

Do you know if they can source a direct mount hanger? Not a problem but I’ll probably have to fish out my b link from god knows where

Just pulled the trigger on a GasCycle Nitrogen alloy frame (size S). It's still being built — the seller says it'll ship around the end of the month, so I've got a bit of a wait before the fun starts.

The idea: my actual dream bike is the Cannondale CAAD14, but on a student budget that's not happening, so this is my crit-focused take on it — with a bit of a wink toward the Standert Kreissäge RS as well. I'm coming off a LightCarbon LCR018-D endurance bike, so this is a deliberate move to a lower, racier position.

Use case: flat-ish criterium racing. Aggressive position, running 1x to keep things clean.

Planned build:
- Frame: GasCycle Nitrogen, alloy, size S
- Groupset: SRAM XPLR 1x13 AXS (Rival/Force mix)
- Crank: TBD (likely a powerless SRAM AXS crank + power pedals)
- Chainring: AluGear Aero "Golf Ball" 54T, black
- Chain: SRAM 12s flattop
- Cassette: 10–46
- BB: ZTTO BSA-DUB (open to better suggestions)
- Cockpit: Zipp Service Course SL-80 + Kalloy Uno stem (trying out different lengths and angles)
- Wheels: LightCarbon C67DB carbon
- Tyres: Continental GP5000 (28–32c, still deciding)

Recently I put on some CSC wheels on my Gas Cycle frame. Normally I don't like wider tires, but these 32c Panaracer Agilest Duros I'm running are pretty darn fast.

The nitrogen 2 looks like the perfect bike for those of us in the Aluminati! Shame the sizing is not bigger for us tall lads. The frameset in red looks amazing.

$1499 usd for a Speedclan frameset? I paid a fraction of that for my Nitrogen frameset!

The comment section in my video was spot on regarding price. Something I mentioned myself.

I actually spoke to Speedclan earlier this week and essentially gave them a list of things they might need to consider moving forward. They seem like super cool and passionate people rather than a cash grab. Quite open to feedback. Hopefully they can sort it all out.

Little bit of an update on the frameset. Haven't been riding as much as I would have liked due to busy life recently, but racked up a bit more than 1000 km on my size L/530 Gascycle Nitrogen frame. Geometry works quite well for me, I guess it's really similar to my size 54 CAAD12 which works quite well for me. 162.5 cranks instead of 172.5 make up for the difference in stack height. Rides well and I have not yet eaten any pavement or wore out any headset bearings

Really simple build, wheelset doubles the price of the whole thing lol.

Size L/530 Gascycle Nitrogen in raw alu (version two, with UDH)
Sram rival1 mechanical shifters/derailleur
ZTTO hybrid hydraulic brakes
9Velo CC TI 45/55 carbon wheelset
25 mm GP 5000 until they wear out
STONEDW 162.5 mm crankset (very nice) w/50t chainring
10-42 SRAM XG-1195 cassette
Ultegra pedals (not using the XT pedals pictured)

I think it's quite a clean looking frameset all in all. I expect it to be basically the same as the lower spec Standert aluminium road bikes. Ride feel is quite similar to my CAAD12 but with a bit more road buzz I guess. I didn't go for a low weight build, but it comes in sub 8 kg with pedals, cages, and computer mount. Clearance probably for a little over a 35 mm WAM, but it's limited by tire height at the seat tube. Front you can go >40 mm.

Quite funny how the bike kind of has rack mounts at the back, I picked up a second hand ortlieb quick rack + panniers which also makes the bike a perfect commuter. Single pannier fits all the stuff I need.

Is this frame being exported to the US under any brand names? I like the round tubes and the feature set. Can't find anything else like it on Ali or elsewhere.
