Happy Holidays!
The question is whether it’s worth buying a crank with an aluminum spindle. Does anyone have experience with it?
Why don’t you ask the seller? A Geoid power meter crank weighs 676 grams when weighed myself, so it’s not far off from the stated weight and that’s with a steel axle. The Thinkrider carbon crank is listed as having a 24 mm titanium DUB axle. You see the point?
24mm aluminium spindles are risky, I've seen too many snap in two. Personally I would not use them, maybe for a lighter rider they can be ok
That's insane. I see 106USD.
24mm alu spindle is not good?
I asked the seller about the spindle material and they’ve sent me this.
got confirmation as well that it is steel and will restock within 1-2 daysnot sure though about the price
Hi guys, I just bought the power meter with Thinkrider carbon crankset. Does anyone have the reference number for the nut used to tighten the spider PM onto the crank? Thank you
